So if you try to kill a cop in the name of Islam....it is not influenced by Islam

Even the the police and the suspect say it was because of Islam.

Obama will not weigh in on the issue because I heard he missed the evening newscast. This whole situation is getting absurd.

I do t want to see people blow up abortion clinics... And people do it in the name of Chrisitianity. Calling these wackos Christian does not offend me.

Why is everyone so sensitive about people doing terroristic acts in the name of Islam. If law enforcement wants to prevent these kinds of things in the future... In regards to abortion clinic bombings police have to investigate radical Christians. We are seeing an uptick of Islamic lone wolf radicals carrying out attacks and you cannot seperate these people from their religion. It has everything to do with Islam and does not matter if you feel they are not true Muslims.

For some people, it is about political correctness. For Obama, and likely for Bush as well ("religion of peace") - it's really about diplomacy. It does us no good to pose this struggle with Islamic terrorism as a war between the west and Islam. It hurts us to pose it that way. I don't understand why so many people on the right are bent out of shape that now two POTUSES in a row refuse to say it is about Islam.

So, what's your final solution to the radical Islam question?

It's interesting. Obama and others seem to know their religion better than they do.

It must really piss them off to want to kill in the name of their religion and to be constantly told that they can't.

So, what's your final solution to the radical Islam question?

The first step is to ditch political correctness. Radical Muslims get radicalized somewhere. Law enforcement has decades of experience infiltrating radical groups. Groups associated with the KKK and Aryan nation have been under investigation probably for decades. LE can't be afraid to hurt people's feelings when investigating Muslims.

Nadal Hassan may have never been able to carry out his attack on soldiers at Ft. Hood had people along the way not been worried about offending Muslims.

That is it for now. I know you want to goad me into some simplistic solution to the problem ala the Trump idea but sorting my ideas of battling radical islam would take pages. The point is people like the mayor of Philadelphia need to stop making idiots of themselves by going on tv and saying what he did.... Even when the suspect said the total opposite.

Political correctness has nothing to do with this. It's just fear mongering idiocy to blame millions of people for the crimes of one person who can be loosely correlated to them.
Serious question: when did people get this chickenshit stupid?

More serious question... How did you get so chickenshit stupid? Please quote my text where I am saying millions of people are guilty because of their religion.

What is your explanation for what the mayor of Philadelphia said in his statement if he wasn't being politically correct?

Yeah yeah, we know your rhetoric already. "All Muslims, blacks, gays, liberals, etc are killers," which is why you need to kill them first. It's the dark cabal of the "International Muslim" and Obummer is their leader!

I love the thought that some how if we weren't politically correct we would all of the sudden be able to win the war on terror!

I'm sure terrorist are sitting at home plotting away and saying to themselves, "well! We haven't been called muslim extremists yet so I guess we can continue terrorizing".

Sometimes I wonder who really are the crazy ones.

Seriously?

Jihadists are killing people and announcing their motivation for the world to see, and you don't understand why people are angry that politicians won't name them or their motivations appropriately? You don't understand that a lot of people are fed up with the "religion of peace" line when it's plain to see that islam socially, economically, and technologically retards or outright ruins every country where it becomes dominant? Many of the most conflict ravaged populations are muslim, and they bring it upon themselves with the backwards cultures that islam is wont to spawn and perpetuate.

Islam has no advantages and no redeeming qualities over Western civilization. We only endanger our societies by associating with muslim populations. The muslim world has nothing we need, and we owe these people nothing.

Capisce?

Ummm how exactly is this saying millions of Muslims are guilty because they are Muslim? This statement means the perp tried to kill a police officer in the name of Islam. The perp said he tried to kill the police officer because by his duties the officer went against the teachings of Islam. Edward Archer is a Muslim. A very radicalized Muslim, but a Muslim nonetheless. How can I discount this connection to Islam when investigating the crime or crimes that may be committed by other radicalized Muslims? Hell, should the FBI go bug a small southern baptist church in bumfuck, Georgia in search of radical Muslims?

I don't care about the Muslim world. It can fall off a cliff.
What I care about is that we preserve the Constitutionally-guaranteed right to religious freedom for every American citizen.

Ah so you want to call them muslim terrorist because it's you who needs to feel better.

I get it, this country is filed with a lot of pussies like yourself who are easily scared and who need to feel secure by demonizing whole groups of people you know nothing about. Go ahead call them what you want and we'll call you what you are, a little bitch.

The funny thing is that everything you said about them could be said about you, crazy idiots are crazy;)

The problem with islam is, the more devoutly it's followed, the more subversive and violent it's adherents become.

Intolerance of other religions, intolerance of any law but sharia law, and violence against non-muslims. What do you do with a group that rejects the constitution?

"He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone's hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers."

They don't get it and they never will. Their kind has impeded progress in this country throughout our history. They aren't the first group of bigots to exist in this country and they won't be the last. My only hope is that as this country does progress and each new wave of bigots emerges their demise becomes more rapid, as in their thinking is changed/removed/shamed from society faster and faster.

Do you blame all that is Christianity for every crime committed by the KKK? Of course not. Same here, the connection is not nearly as strong as the media seems to want you to believe.

And newsflash for you and Edward Archer, they have law enforcement in Islamic countries, including those with strict Sharia (which are basically police states), so this idea that the duties of law enforcement go against the teachings of Islam is just.. weird. Seriously, weird.

Gun violence in Chicago resides within the black community. Once Obama dries off his crocodile tears and realizes this.... maybe he can concentrate on the real cause of gun violence.

The sooner people understand these Muslim radicals come from the Muslim community (and not be afraid to say so) the sooner profiles can be developed that may help prevent future attacks. The killings in Chattanooga at the recruitment center, San Bernadino shootings, this latest attack and other Islamic radical attacks are because these peoples Islamic belief system.

Just as all Christians don't want to bomb abortion clinics, most Muslims don't want to kill in the name of Islam. We are still going to have to associate religion with these radicals.

The same can be said of any fundamentalist sect of any religion. Including the rejection of the Constitution bit. You don't preserve freedom by giving it up, Jar Jar Binks.

Tell that to Edward Archer. This was his statement to police .... As the mayor of Philadelphia was saying this had nothing to do with Islam.

Anywho outta here till tomorrow.

And you've got the critical thinking skills of a child. What you read was the opinion of senators full of bias and speculation.

You aren't smart enough to see it though.

You aren't smart enough to understand nuance, to you and other brain dead righties, everything is black or white.

And btw, Obama has, in multiple occasions including this past week acknowledged black crime in Chicago. The difference of, course, is that he knows that real cause of gun crime is complex and not simply a matter of recognizing what group of people seem to be more prone to violence.
