Carr deserves the title of elite if he keeps this up.

Screw Dak. Carr is doing it when it matters.

Lack of talent has never been Carr's problem ... it's been staying healthy. Raiders O-line is looking pretty good this year though.

I only caught the last 7-8 minutes of the KS/LV game...wow...what a fight, right to the end.

I only watched a bit of one game but one thing is for sure:

That Titans WR is a fracking monster. Every Titans game I've watched he makes huge plays. The TD he scored today was incredible.

Did you know that Deion Sanders only had 35 tackles in his ENTIRE CAREER (14 seasons).

That's pretty damn amazing if you ask me.

There is no chance whatsoever that is true.

It's right here:

31 solo, 4 assisted

Edit - I'm looking at some other sites and something is out of whack. If you type in "how many career tackles did Deion Sanders make?" it comes up 35 but other sites have it at much more than that.

Edit 2 - his tackle stats are completely messed up.

From Pro football reference:

During his Atlanta years he supposedly did not make a single solo tackle (5 seasons)

Then, all of a sudden, in his SF season, he has 36 combined tackles, 34 solo tackles, and 2 assisted tackles, which is IMPOSSIBLE. In his DAL seasons he supposedly made 161 solo tackles. I watched those games. Sanders often went entire games without making a single solo tackle.

Those stats have been "revised", to say the least. The 35 may not be correct but no way in hell did Sanders make 786 solo+combined tackles.

Thanksgiving is going to be a snooze fest during the day. Lions - Texans? BORING. Same with WFT - Cowboys. The only redeeming game will be at night (Steelers - Ravens).

No way to be sure of this ... you can easily get a really good matchup between "meh" teams like the Cow-Pies and "FOOTBALL-TEAM" or even between bad ones like HoWston and the Lions!

:p ;)

EDIT: Agreed the night-game s/b a good one ... Steelers playing for 11-0.

Night game will be underwhelming as the Ravens sleep early and get smashed out.

Bad day for football.

Hell, I might skip the Cowboys game since I don't expect the Cowboys to lose....

Only one of the three I really don't care about is Lions/Texans ... however even that looks like a pretty even game between two very similar teams.

And I wouldn't be shocked if FOOTBALL-TEAM were to beat Dallas although I agree it's not a good bet.

For fuck's sake. How is it possible that some of you seem to deliberately look for ways to try to outdo the dumbest football takes imaginable?

Care to revise that considering the outcome?

I think it's safe to say Carr has a long ways to go to be considered "elite" but not because he lost to Mahomes and the Chiefs.

He has played very well so far this season and saying he's better then Prescott isn't that much of a stretch but to even be mentioned as "elite" I think you need to have actually won something first!

(he can start by staying healthy for the entire sesson)

Eli might have won, but he'll never be elite. ;)

I thought you were a "Washington FOOTBALL-TEAM" fan no? :D

In the words of Al Pacino from Any Given Sunday: "Just win one."

Eli accomplished something nobody else in the NFL ever has ... beating Brady and the Patriots IN the Super bowl not once but twice. He'll almost certainly end up in the NFL HOF and he IS a NY sports legend forever.

Get back to me on Carr when he wins a division title or a playoff game.

Eli won more, but seriously, his brother operated at a higher level. But unlike others, including talking heads, being a David to Brady's Goliath does make him a HOFer imo.

But you seriously can't equivocate his game with a Marino or Montana, or even Aikman.

Hmm, I don't think any fan of my REDSKINS ever has hyped up Doug Williams, Mark Rypien, or Joe Theismann as historically great QBs. The love goes towards the "The Hogs" and "Joe Gibbs", along with "The Posse" and for the first of the 80s, "Riggo/The Diesel". Then there's Darrell Green.

Besides, I don't want this new name changed until TEAMY eats some Giants.

I'm a Giants fan but also a fairly objective football fan.

You are correct overall Eli did fall short of Peyton in the regular season as did nearly every other NFL QB of all-time. His numbers would have looked a lot better if he had retired sooner.

Championships are not the only thing that makes a QB "elite" by any means though ... Joe Theismann was a terrific QB and one I considered elite same with Marino. Definite first-ballot HOF's IMO.

As for Aikman for some reason he's chronically under-rated maybe because his teams were so head-and-shoulders above everyone else.
