Well, no. SLI is using duel video cards, as this is 1 video card that happens to have 2 cores and platforms. Would to call an X2 a duel cpu for having 2 cores?

Erm this was settled pages ago. Cant believe it went 38 pages.

This is a dual core/pcb card but is a single card solution. Just as a dual core CPU is a single CPU solution.

Thread continues because?

It doesn't behave as a true single card (ie. single cards don't require SLI). That's the sticking point. And also, comparison to dualcore is not correct...comparison to a dual CPU setup is closer (ie. dual CPU has 2 sets of everything while a dualcore usually doesn't).

I have to agree with Crusader, this is simply a non-debate IMO... It is what it is: A single card with two gpu's and two PCB's, period.

Yes I agree it is a single slot card...I was just saying it is more akin to a dual CPU system rather than a dualcore system.
