You haven't supplied any evidence for this load usage. Most likely because you already know its so minimalistic that it can barely be counted.

I may only have 360mbit internet, but even downloading at full speed gives me pretty much 0 CPU usage over AC wifi with firewall on. Same goes for a bunch of edge tabs.

But again, I dont use an AMD CPU. So it may peak on those ;)

On an Atom Z3735F-based Compute Stick, downloading (75Mbit/sec internet), takes a whole CPU core to itself.

Your Meegopad stick?

eMMC storage and realtek wifi?
Yes. It's woefully underpowered.

IST to discredit benchmarks they are not Intel favored.

People they dont Multi-Task because they cant, if they could they would do it as well.

Multi-Tasking people do,

1: Gaming + Recording
2: Rendering + Gaming
3: Movie Editing (Finalizing) + Gaming
4: Video encoding + Gaming

Just because Core i3 and Core i5 users cannot do those workloads, doesnt mean anyone else doesnt do it as well.

And before you say anything, im not talking playing BF4 MP 64 player maps but something like playing a racing simulator or a turn-based game like Civilization etc.

In my circle of family, friends, and work associates, maybe 25 to 30 people, none of them record gaming,or do any of those other tasks, alone or in combination with gaming. Even if one does this, these tasks except for recording gaming could more logically be done overnight or while one is at work and the computer would otherwise be idle. Even game recording can now be offloaded to the gpu. Even then, I very seriously doubt your casual, undocumented statement that one cannot perform those tasks simultaneously on even a modern i3, or certainly on an i5,

People multitask all the time. You just have to setup some obscure situation to try and sell your AMD CPUs. Its funny you always get stuck in some sub 1% niche.

Im selling my Intel CPUs as well, you know the Core i7 and 6-8 Cores Socket 2011-v3. But you are not one of those users, so you dont know the difference 8 vs 4 cores can do in Multi-Tasking.

And i dont believe anyone here said that the majority of the consumer doing something like that. But those who can they actually put their systems to the test.

Yea, and those that do must be switching to AMD because intel is so bad at multitasking, hence AMD's rapidly growing market share.

Even if one does this, these tasks except for recording gaming could more logically be done overnight or while one is at work and the computer would otherwise be idle.

You will use more energy doing those two works one at a time and the system will be left open for more time spending even more energy than doing both at once and close the PC before you go to bed.

Even then, I very seriously doubt your casual, undocumented statement that one cannot perform those tasks simultaneously on even a modern i3, or certainly on an i5,

I have actually tested the Core i3 Skylake and some older Core i5 running x265 and trying to play Formula 1 2015 at the same time. Although i had high fps, the game was unplayable due to lagging controls. I couldn't even keep the car in the straight. Everytime i was making a small coarse correction, the car responded 1-2 secs later making it impossible to drive it.
Try it with your Core i5, the high latency you will get makes any game (perhaps turn-based games will be better havent tried Civ) unplayable.

So you re speaking out of thin air, if you dont own one how do you know how it work...

As for me i m using an Intel CPU....;)

Yet try to dupe other people into buying AMD cpu's.

I wish i had AMD laptop instead, it s just that i got this C2D at dirt cheap price, i almost hope that it break so i have an excuse to get a newer one...

If you check the benchmarks, the i3-6300's "530" graphics are right up there with the AMD... sometimes better!

Go the Intel route and don't look back - you won't be missing anything!

...with only ONE possible exception. The AMD APU route would allow you to pick up a cheap used Radeon R7 240 or 250 (and no other, not the 250x, etc.) and use hybrid crossfire to increase gaming speed.

That's the ONLY saving grace here - and that's only when it works right. A single Radeon R7 260 will outperform the combination anyway, and the CPU processing power of the i3 just dwarfs the AMD APU.

Lol, using a decade old system and telling what people should buy today. You have no experience besides trying a friends computer using any of the products you write about.

You have the credibility of a macaw - just repeating what you hear because it makes you feel good.

So, 99% of AT users have the credibility of a macaw because they dont use the latest hardware from both AMD and Intel.

Nice to hear.

Core i3 6300 HD530 ($155) is slower even than A8-7600($90), an A8-7650K at $99 with a iGPU OC to 900MHz will be more than 50% faster in the vast majority of games.

Essentially mostly unplayable without a discrete GPU.

Exactly. These arguments about gaming on a desktop igpu just want to make my head explode. Just add a freaking dgpu. It is so obvious.
