You were the prick in this situation, not him.
You weren't even in a lane according to your post. I fail to comprehend how you could possibly be in the right if you were on the hard shoulder. If you were merely merging, and you had no chance to get in, and he wasn't letting you then I mis-posted. However, if you were trying to pass him in the merge lane, and weren't able to do it and ran out of road (not including hard-shoulder), you then my statement stands.
I was in the left lane and he was in the right lane. The right lane was ending and he started to merge into mine, and since I didn't want to give in that's why I ended up basically being pushed into the little shoulder between the left lane and the guard rail. He saw a small car and figured that I'd be intimidated by his big vehicle, which was his folly and cost him accordingly. I think he realized that a very low speed accident was imminent and that it was not only going to cost him time, but be clearly evident who's fault it was. I was in a $1500 car and wasn't in a big rush that day so I thought let's see how far this prick will take it. He took it quite far considering his entire livelihood rests upon his ability to legally drive that vehicle.
Even years after leaving Birmingham, it's sad that I could easily remember a prime example of where Skoorb's driving would enrage Doboji were they both in Birmingham.
See, it's a case-by-case fine line of "stealing" a position that you don't deserve and merely taking advantage of a good opportunity that others might otherwise take, but can't be bothered to.
