I probably confused the two but I could've sworn he did an SNL skit where he was gay and I just assumed he was IRL.
I am. By my count, you've already been called retarded by dozens of people above me.
Because no straight actor has ever played a gay man before?![]()
Well, when you do it repeatedly people start to wonder. They start to talk. Whisper.
There's nothing wrong with it, of course, but I can't imagine every actor wanting to play these roles. If you're really straight, it'd invite certain types of fans and women. The liberal types. I know he's famous for Star Trek but I've never seen those either since I'm not the fan. Maybe they're of the same mind.

So you wanted this thread closed, but not before you could get out your shovel to dig yourself a bit deeper, eh?
Please carry on...
is that all you's guys think about?? bedroom and bathroom habits??

Who is they? People like you? I think you are projecting
Ah, so you're a follower...
I thought he was gayNow I'm reading he's been married before? I remember seeing him do an SNL skit over a decade ago where he kissed a man.

I wanted it closed because I felt it was not the appropriate thread for many here to celebrate the wedding of someone we honor and respect so much. I like the guy as an actor and human being but I just thought he was gay. He isn't and I found out via the fact that he got married. None of this is difficult to understand. I'm not asking to have it closed because of any embarrassment or some other dumb nonsense. That's for the insecure. I think there should be a proper thread since he's universally liked and appears to be a happy fellow.

One can never tell with the British...

Have you ever actually listened to an actor discuss their craft? The harder something is to play, the more challenged and engaged most of them are. They may not enjoy the physical aspects of a scene, but here's a flash: the actors in the heterosexual scenes don't much enjoy them either, if what I've read is any guide.
So the actors who play straight parts must all be straight too then?

George Takei is gay and I've never seen him kiss a man on screen. I don't think I've ever seen Neil Patrick Harris kiss a man on screen either.
What was your point again?
I've never heard anyone suggest that Patrick Stewart was gay... until today.
My point has been stated in this thread repeatedly. If you're too stupid to understand then see it as homework and re-read.
I might help if your point made sense. It doesn't.
