Discussion Should MLID be considered a legitimate source

Given that the PS5 pro with two controllers is $799 in Costco right now, $599 for the slim disc version, $549 for non disc version I don't see the ps6 going for less than $800.

GTA6 edition will sellout at $1200-$1500 is my prediction. Corpos have adopted the meme; look at me, I'm the scalper now.

Because they’re trying to get part of his traffic/reputation.
I'm fairly certain that's not the case, plus dunno how would that work, really.

The reason for poorer quality leaks or rumors being reposted (assuming it's not just lazyness or poor experience/judgment of the writer - or even, AI being used instead of human) is that media simply need regular stream of material to post.
Some days there's enough to fill your spice-must-flow needs/obligations, some days there's not so if MLID or even somebody fishier has something that can provide a news piece at the right time, you take it.

There is also an excuse of sorts - if you don't publish a take on his leak where you try to frame it responsibly (add caveats, ignore parts that you think are not actual leak but his potentially wrong extrapolations, etc), people will instead read about the stuff through other sites that will repost it in a dumber way, since you are (you wish, lol) a better, more experienced reporter. Hahaha...

(Note: I would not call *all* his content poor quality. After all, even on this forum we discuss some stuff he threw out so clearly some of it sometimes is relevant enough to report on.)

need to see if this price holds until 2028

in general yes, PS6 launch price cannot be less than the prevailing market price of ps5 pro

I can buy into this simply because GTA6 will be console only at launch and then PC in probably 1 year if we go by past history with GTA5 and RDR2. Otherwise I'm skeptical because the game is starting to take too long and given who is working/running Rockstar these days I don't think the game will be as good as past games. Though all they have to do is make the online part competent. But toss in the bad economy and I think it will be a hard sell.

Ananta, the anime gta is also in contention to take away interest from gta6.

I have to laugh at this one. In this economy? GTA6 being $80-100? I dont think the console ships for that much. Then again, what do I know about consoles other than the N64, PS2, and Xbox 360?

The latest price hike for the PS5 Pro is $900 "in this economy". Limited edition bundle models of the newest flagship are going to cost more than that.

Is RGT a legitimate source?
