from what i know the thread creater payed for most of the computer

and the other guy has bad grades, do what ever you want with the computer you payed for it

if anything only give him back the parts he payed for until he gets better grades

highschool isn't that hard quit being a lazy mofo

i HAD a friend that failed highschool and he had to repeat 12th grade while me and all my other friends went off to college

he's a screw up and ignorant, needless to say we don't talk to him anymore

anyways, the older brother paid for the rig, while the younger is trying to defend his weak case against the older brother taking it. also, the younger brother is complaining about the older brother taking his PS2 away also, i think.

also, if you were someone's older brother and your 15 yr old younger brother got 3 F's 2 D's, etc... you would just let them whittle their life away playing HL2 just because he paid for his PC?

Older brother or not, its up to the parents. Plenty of people waste their lives, your older brother doesn't need to be a ass about it. He'll learn his lesson when he is still living at home at 30.

you could give it back and then don't give him a god damn thing for the rest of his life if he really screws up

show no pitty once he finds out he has to repeat half his classes again, infact GIVE the computer back then when he starts to throw his life away LAUGH at him hardcore and don't let up EVER!

the thing is if he does keep on the track he's going and still asks for stuff don't give him anything

I was bored and did some googling. He goes to "Carl Sandburg Highschool" in Illinois. (this was found based off the teacher's names, School Directory) and some Stats about the school.

Holy cow, an average of $72,878 for teacher's salary.

God those are horrific grades.... I was a relatively bad student in middle school but sh!t those are some of the worst grades i've seen! Jesus christ take the damn computer away until he gets at least 3 c's. No grade is final and if the kid really gives a sh!t about his grades, he would talk with his teachers about what he can do to get a passing grade (D is NOT PASSING in my book). Kid seriously maybe you shouldn't have the computer if your grades are THAT BAD!

I think's obvious which part he's in.

Still, damn, $72,878 avg teacher's salary. My highschool's was about $38,000.

i could tell you that i know about 50 people who'd be on the side of the brother taking away the computer
it can become quite engrosing playing games all the time.. trust me i know, and there are also plenty of people here that've sold there computers from gaming addiction

Looking at his grades, I dont think the kid is dumb. I think he's undisciplined.
In that case the punishment is fine. He could have great potential. But he needs a little control to learn how to unleash it.

Since you practically gave him a center for entertainment, he may be learning that he can get things in life for free, and goof-off with no consequences.
This is unhealthy, regardless of age. He needs to learn about "Work Hard, Play Hard".

Im muslim and we dont date...This thread is more focused on the grades that the fact that he is only using the grades to take my PC away..i wouldnt really care if he had the PC because of my grades but i know thats not why he has it. He loves seeing me get pissed off. I dont see why everyone here is saying "wow those grades suck keep the PC". Its only backing up my statment that he is using the grades as the biggest excuse for people to not care that he took my PC (and other stuff BEFORE i got bad grades). I think im done from this thread!

yeah, his problem is that he always whines and bitches until he gets what he wants, and then he never learns things the hard way.

the way i see it, the faster you finish high school, the quicker you can get away from parental/family control. and the better grades you get, the farther away from them you can find a nice college to attend.
