I know this is a touchy subject because there are lots of Asian members here, but I always considered asians on the same "level playing field" as whites. As a white guy, it doesn't bother me if people make fun of my race or make generalizations about me based on race (we can't dance, jump, appreciate soccer, have small peckers, our necks turn red when we're out in the sun, oppress every other culture/religion/ethnic group throughout history,... blah blah blah). I always considered my asian friends "thick skinned" like most of my white friends because we really don't have a lot to complain about today. If I crack them about their driving, the fishy smell of their food, or the accents of their parents, they crack right back on me.
Sure, it's a double standard, but big deal! Mark Madsen isn't going to whine if Shaq makes fun of his white-boy dance... and I don't think Yao cares what Shaq says. Shaq cracks on lots of people and usually looks like an ignorant, spoiled, doofus when he does.
