OP, you won't bother to ask your wife where she spent tens of thousands of dollars, yet you complain about moving some tables?

How does asking you to do something mean you're relegated to that role, and that role only?

Grow up.

I will usually do the heavy lifting automatically if needed before any lady speaks.

But I probably wouldn't have done it if they expect it.....or have an attitude about it etc.

As far as Sexist, naaah bro

Everyone automatically points to the weightlifter to lift heavy sh!t in the offices I've worked at!

So youe expect women to move heavy stuff while you sit around on your big fat ass??

Uhh....Yeah no.

Also, you need to grow a pair.

Oh? what exactly was his sexist comment? Did he tell some lady to get in the kitchen and make him a sammich? If you feel so strongly about this, talk to HR about her comment!

Must be from Texas

And if recent news events from Texas have taught us anything he probably would have been within his lawful rights to have shot them

Practice gender equality and tell the women to move their own fucking tables.

While you assume the stance of dominance on the table they are moving to show them who is the alpha

Women have the vote. They wear pants. They drive busses. They wrestle. They go every where they please except the steam room at the YMCA.

I also dont have a problem moving things, I did just tell a female coworker I didnt need her help moving some boxed up monitors around even though she offered. She had on 3 inch heels, im not going to be responsible for that.o_O Next day she wore flats and I let her sweat it out next to us.

Company is getting ready to have a meeting, room needs to be setup with tables and chairs.

Female employee says they are waiting on the men so we can "man-handle" the heavy 8 foot long tables.

The women setup the chairs, but did not touch the heavy stuff.

I am a little offended that the male employees were relegated to manual labor, and especially lifting heavy stuff.

Bro.... that's nothing. I'm pretty certain I'm actually being sexually harassed at work. Inappropriate comments/touching nearly every day. I've had discussions with my wife about it, but don't really know what to do. I've made it clear those comments/actions are unwanted, but I don't want to take it to HR because 1. I'm a guy, I'll get laughed at. 2. Repercussions. I can't imagine things will go well for me if I start causing shit with my boss.

The amount of sexism in this thread is amazing.

Isn't funny that "equality" ends the second women are expected to take responsibility.

I think there are a lot of guys in this thread that "need to grow a pair" and stop letting "equal" womens stomp all over them.

Blame our shit society that is slowly becoming the norm. Only thing you can do is hold out that the next generation isn't as stupid as the previous.
