If I can manage to average 12.5 WU's per day (my average this week has been 13.5) then I should be able to meet my goal! Whee!!

Nice upgrade ,BTW whilst I do play LAN Q3 I havent yet played it on the net ,I more into Unreal Tourn anyway which I do play on the net occasionally.

Assim1- Why don't you play Q3 on the net? Lag? I also upgraded my cpu from a 700E@868 to a 750E@930, but I don't think that accounted for the frame rate increase. Just the much better DDR ram.

Anyone here play excessive Q3?

Hummmmm...not a record to be setting! LOL

Looks like the high angle party is over, my production has dropped off. I think I was quite fortunate with my little run of high 70's low 80's production. Some low angle results are starting to come in so my herd is getting less work done.

One good thing, the holiday is almost here and work shuts down for a week, actually it comes out to 10 days. During that period, I will have a killer herd running devoted 100% to seti. I can't wait!

Assim1 - I doubt I will hit 100 wu's/day, unless I get REAL lucky with high angle units or there's an outage and all my drivers dump at once. I'm just hoping to sustain 70+ wu's/day.

HB is the next for me to pass and he has a 1000 wu lead on me! Gonna take awhile to pass him.

NWM - I was just wondering if any of the race team played Q3. Thanks

Ref Q3 ,I prefer to play Unreal Tourn ,either way I am limited to which servers I can connect to because of high ping rates.I only play Q3 around a friends because thats what he prefers ,occasionally UT ,recently we've dug out Foresaken from the cupboard & play that lot ,I'd forgotten how much I liked that game

Oh yeah ,I've got my PIII 650 running @ 820 MHz ,the cpu does run at 866 MHz but I have to disable AGP texturing otherwise my 16Mb TNT2 (NOT Vanta) won't run games ,with AGP off the performance plummeted ,was like playing on my old K6-2 400 again!.So I set the FSB back down to 126 MHz.oh & my PC100 RAM still seems to be OK at CAS2 so far.Though I have generic PC133 RAM I could swap around from other PC's if need be.

I think it's slipping due to longer wu's! My herd is the same as always and I went from doing 81 wu's to the whimpy 60's! Hell, I even been getting 4-5 wu's extra from the customer PC sitting behind me burning in!

Assim1 - Is that all the stats you have for the P820? Seems a bit fast to me. When I get home, I'll show you that stats for my P930/868 system. I think I have about 80 wu's worth of stats, most from running at 868.

Bummed I lost the P400 24/7 cow. The customer 868 is still bailing me out a bit while burning in, good for 5-6/day while I have it. I told them it was ready, but they said they don't want me to deliver it yet! doh...no problem! LMAO...free wu's..LOL.

Hey, if you all ever need PC parts, LMK. I can give you a good price and NOT rape you on shipping (it will be actual cost). Plus, 99% of my parts have 1 year warr!!!....not the whimpy 30 day BS. I buy DIRECT from a local (non-public) distributor. However, my selection is somewhat limited and I can't price match or anything.

ASSIM1 : My production is stable but I fetch/flush my work fleet manually. So I make little dump from time to time; especialy on Monday when I flush the week-end production. It appears on tuesday in the stats. Next week, I'll be on holidays for christmas and new year. I have to give my work fleet enough WUs to crunch during 9 days. So I hope to flush 100 WUs to celebrate the new year.
So, no fear for you ! You'll reach 4000 before me !
