Assim1 - My avg wu time is 4hr 38 min over 105 wu's. Most of these were collected at 868 CAS2, about 20 @ 930.

The hardware I can get is very limited. The only Geforce DDR card I can get is a VisionTek 32MB, and the price is not all that great, $179 US. The best deals I get is on soundcards, nics, modems, cases, cables and such. CPU's, ram, and high end video cards are likely cheaper on web, but I will be happy to quote anything. The bonus is I can offer a 1 yr warr! I've never shipped to the UK. Does it cost that much more? Other restictions? I don't see that would be a problem since I'm NOT a business. Just like sending you a birthday present, eh?

Seriously though ,I can get an Asus V6800 DDR OEM for £116 ,how does that compare?

How does it compare? What to you mean? If you mean to Asus, well, Asus is the best. They make awesome products. I've had good luck with Visiontek, but they are VERY plain products. It just uses the nvidia reference driver, no OC utils or anything...but I personally like that...no &quot;ad manager&quot; sneakware either, LOL.

Is there a tax on packages shipped to the UK? I just don't know, I certainly wouldnt charge you tax of any kind. I think the US Post Office will get it there, eh? Hell, as far as I see, I would just box it, address to you and take it to the post office here. Within the US, all they ask is what method of shipping and if I want it insured. I suspect thats the same for overseas. Give me a PM bro, this is seriously OT.

I've taken my case to MIS &quot;supreme court&quot;, LOL. The MIS division manager is going to rule based on input from his best MIS guy, who happens to run SETI himself. Won't find out the ruling until the holiday is over. But the SETI MIS guy said he didn't have a problem with it as long as machines were logged out at night. So, there is a slight chance I will get my herd back, at least during the day, but Im not holding my breath. Looking over corporate IT policy manual today, it says &quot;NO screen savers, programs, etc. may be installed on company PC's&quot;. However, it does say that the &quot;division IT manager may approve applications as he sees fit&quot;. The question is, will he go by the book and say NO or will he follow common sense and go with the MIS SETI guy. This div mgr is pretty stuffy &amp; conservative, so I'm thinking the worse. At that level, they are more concerned with &quot;covering their a$$e$&quot; with respect to our corporate MIS.

I'll probably have just a couple cows grazing on SETI units to keep me mooooving along, but not much.

What a rotten Christmas present! My home SetiQ system froze up about an hour after I left for the weekend (the client on that machine had about two hours to go when I left, and it had about an hour to go on the same WU when I got back three days later ) and both offices with computers cracking for me shut everything down for the holidays..

Oh well, I won't make 700, but I DID get to 600, which is a lot more than I would have expected a month or so ago..
