Sedation dentistry - every have it done?

The worst part about having a tooth pulled is the needle that numbs you. But after that you will not feel a thing. And there is always some nitrous or you could ask the dentist for some lortabs before he starts.

the needle that gives me the numb stuff, while can be uncomfortable and painful, I'd rather just keep living that over for an hour versus the damn drills. Never had a tooth pulled by a dentist, but the drill? Oh fuck me.

If I can't do sedation dentistry, this thread has given me ideas. Ask for Valium. :D

I guess I only got two teeth out at a time but I didn't have a problem at all. I've never minded going to the dentist (same dentist since I was a youngin) and while they had a bit of a time takin out one of the teeth on my lower jaw it wasn't that bad. I'd be more apprehensive to go under sedation than local anesthetic.
