The Strategic Response Group, or SRG, will be devoted to advanced disorder control and counterterrorism protection,
because like, every protester should be greeted by police with machine guns.It will be equipped and trained in ways that our normal patrol officers are not, Commissioner Bill Bratton said Thursday.
It will be equipped with all the extra heavy protective gear, with the long rifles and the machine guns that are unfortunately sometimes necessary in these *instances.

hard to notice the female cop incident (upper left), with the other guy getting sprayed at :24 and as he is trying to retreat, after being blinded by the spray, is sprayed again and then finally dragged away, swarmed by more cops then handcuffed.
I wonder if all of this stupidity was because if you look at the bottom right, you can see what appears to be a police officer down on the ground, possibly injured. while IMO not an excuse, it could explain why that female officer was so freaked out.

Right at the 1 second mark, we already see the pepper spray is deployed and the woman yells "GET BACK". We know it is loud, because white girl turns and looks right at her. We know white girl is processing the visible cues, because she starts to side step away from the canister while looking at it. She is doing so...quite slowly...and then pauses...probably not sure what is going on, but feeling something is going on.
Also at about the end of the 1 second mark...the teacher sidesteps his way towards the police line and then begins to walk parallel with it. He is on his phone, looking away from the police. He does not show any clues that he is aware that pepper spray is about to be unleashed in his direction.
At about the 5 second mark, the police officer yells get back for the last time and unleashes a volley of pepper spray at those near her. It hits both the teacher and the white lady.
Right after the deployment, it appears everyone quickly gets away from her.
SO with this, we can probably assume that there was also a warning period prior to the start of the video, because she had to at least bring the pepper spray out and present it.
Her co-workers would have been pissed off honestly, 3/4 of that spray hit them in the face.
Anyway, if there is any lesson to be learned here, when police form a line in front of you and say GET BACK you should easily expect something negative to happen if you try to walk through them or behind them. I would prefer they stand their ground, and if it is CLEAR someone is trying to break or fuck with the line, they shove that bike into them and push them backwards.

Would you let someone...on your day to day activities, get this fucking close to you and talk-spit into your face? Fuck no. Get back a few feet! It is REASONABLE for you to not yell actually inside someone else's mouth. You want to protest against the "System" and yell anonymously at someone you've never met? Fine. Just be fucking human about it.
So were the people close to the bike line too close? Hard to say, honestly it didn't look like it, but keep in mind we are looking at a 14 second video clip. They looked composed except for her.

Hey dude put that aside, Seahawks are playing, entertainment over our rights okay alreadySearched what I could for Seattle news papers and TV channels, no new news for several days. Guess it's because it's the weekend but was curious to see something about it. PD's response to it or a statement at a minimum. Nothing.
