My cousin did and it scared her. She says there are a couple of streets that are ok but another that she felt unsafe on, partly due to the tent city there. Time of graffiti and boarded up windows.

Is that the farmers market off Leary?

actually your reaction to what is happenning in Seattle is absurd and just total misinformation bordering on hysteria!!
As I stated, my friends who are black and own a food truck have had no issues with those people and I also have an Asian friend from college who has 2 teenage daughters who are out there actively doing what teenage activist do!
As far as being an embarassment to the city goes --
it is actually an embarrassment to those who are claiming the city has been taken over by people wanting to do harm to the city!
It is an embarrassment to those who want the police to go in and kick ass and take names......are you one of those by any chance??
FOX news is making this out to be more than it is and they are encouraging vigilantes to rise up and take back the city, by use of violence!
Is this the America that you want?

Reading through the thread I see what he said, you said, others said. Just calling out that it looks like no one is addressing his points or even reading responses. Just seeing people get triggered if anything bad is said about Seattle.

I see anecdotal evidence posted by a few. I don't think it's as bad as Fox or others would make it out to be but people are delusional if they think they can just stroll through the streets any time of day or night.

Edit: should have said stroll through the streets in all areas. I am sure there are quite a bit of safe areas. Otherwise no one would be going in and lots more would be leaving.

Dude, there is plenty bad about Seattle. What you're seeing are people scoffing at the idea that something like this is new or unusual for the city, or that it involves actions as egregious to the rule of law as armed thugs in paramilitary cosplay threatening legislators if they don't get their way.
