Also look at Tim Sweeney's Unreal 3 Engine realtime, it may have been even more impressive than the Killzone so I wouldn't be surprised if Killzone was real-time.

I saw Perfect Dark Zero on the MTV show, looked pretty lame. Better be some kind of imrpovement before xbox360 launches.

On the gamespot video, fast forward to 37:35 for the Unreal 3 Demonstration. (looks CG pre-rendered but its not, its real time). Killzone looks CG pre-rendered but that too could be real time.

At least the Xbox trailers have more gameplay oriented material. The best trailer for the PS3 is the GT one. I think the Xbox is going to knock Sony around a little this time.
