wow some of you are pathetic. if you can't learn to play a FPS with a controller then you just suck at gaming.

i remember when i used to play FPS on PC w/the arrow keys and no mouse. i would use the arrow keys and page up/page down to look up and down, and i would have to hold a button to strafe. i eventually learned how to use the keyboard/mouse combo and it definitely helps much more.

the same goes for the controller. you can always learn how to use it. those of you bitching just probably suck at it right away and don't want to take time to learn how to use it, so you just give up. buncha pvssies if you ask me.

I prefer a mouse and keyboard over a controller ...by a lot.

I can play halo just fine and beat my friends all the time...But its true that a mouse and keyboard is just better for FPS...hands down. You can be more accurate with a mouse..you can customize it more. With just a knob you can only be so accurate and can only do so much. Same thign with the keyboard. You have so many keys that you can bind to allowing for a much better gaming experiance.

they are very impressive when the vid settings and resolution are cranked up

No they aren't. A whole wopping 15fps gain at 1600x1200 with AA/AF on isn't exactly impressive. And if you compare the x850XT PE with the SLI'd Ultras, that gap shrinks. SLI was never good.

thats not what the benchmarks show. another one

wow thats amazing. but, id probaby rather play that on my PC 🙂

although next consoles will probably bepretty amazing, after all, look at their system specs!

The first time I saw it I was really impressed but now I am pretty damn sure it is CGI. I have a 1200kb/s version that looks a bit clearer.

But looking at everything more than once, I now think that Sony has shown a lot of CGI. They have shown games too but a lot of CGI too.

I second that.

Going from 80 fps to 140 fps at 1600x1200 isn't exactly bad...

I've noticed a trend that the people who criticize SLI and say its pointless, not worth it, etc. are people that don't even have an SLI machine!
