Rant Scientists once again proven wrong about climate change

Slowmind, you don't melt millions of years of ice in a decade. And you don't make a polar bears extinct in 15 years. The wheels are in motion for both of those to happen however. I'll forgive you since you appear to be brain damaged or intentionally ignorant. It's not like we don't know what the Earth was like when CO2 goes above 400ppm.. in the Pliocene the sea was 30 meters higher and it was a hot and humid world under similar levels to today.

His purpose isn't to understand, it's to pick on Al Gore and troll people. He either is unable to unwilling to understand science but I applaud countering with facts, not for him for for those who aren't willfully ignorant.

As I said, we can influence the climate and should take care, that doesn't mean the left isn't blowing this way out of proportion and using it as a scare tactic for votes. Because that's exactly what they're doing.

Unfortunately the politicization of climate change is a result of the fact that it will take political action to help stop (or at least slow) man's abuse of our environment. What that entails is hard for everyone to agree on.

I think we do need to reign in the use of fossil fuels for one and stop using "clean" coal altogether. Sadly Im too addicted to cow meat to give it up though.

But, per the original post, why wouldn't there be more sea-ice in the Bering Sea, if more chunks of ice are breaking off the ice-cap due to climate change?

And anyone who thinks scientists promote their ideas or sense of understanding as a result of some socialistic obsession -- is totally nuts. Oh! It's all such a great Left-Wing plot! Thousands and thousands of people, conspiring together! Of those many thousands, did anyone ever come forward to confirm this great conspiracy? How could so many thousands of experts be so loyal to a socialist objective, when Trump's staff and affiliates turn on him as much as he turns on them? There, we're only talking about dozens or hundreds.

Than you should tell the fear mongering leftist to stop claiming they'll be extinct in the very near future.
 
Leftist climate change hypocrisy.

You guys are all the same on a smaller level. None of these measure add up to a hill of beans, as long as our population continues to explode, we're going to have problems. That is the root cause, banning drinking straws (LOL) and such are little more than feel good measures.

Oh, there are many more significant measures which we can take than banning straws, but they're blocked on the federal level by the people you vote for. Banning straws can be done on a local level so we're doing what we can.

If I told you there was a firee in a building, would you stamp your feet, scream at us that there is no such thing as a "firee" and then rush head long into said building? Besides the obvious flames and smoke billowing out the windows?

Your focus is on something ancillary and completely beside the point. Which is par the course for political arguments attempting to distract us away from the face of science. Yes, there are some ignorant "Leftists" who proclaim stupid things. And no we don't know everything. But the things WE DO KNOW are fairly concrete and not something you have attempted to dispute.

The exact timing and scale of some of the side effects are probably not 100% known or quantifiable. But the melting ice, the rising sea, and the warmer temperatures are quite clear. If nothing else, runaway CO2 would melt all ice on the planet. Everything not 216 feet above sea level would have a... problem. And if you think that's not problematic, please take a look.
