Remember when the left said polar bears would be extinct soon, but their population has exploded? Remember when Al Gore said in "An Inconvenient Truth" (2006) that polar ice could be gone in five years (still there) causing catastrophic sea level rise, and then went on to buy ocean front property? I am not saying man doesn't influence the climate and that we shouldn't care, we obviously can have an impact on the earth and environment we live, but as the left tends to do, most of their predictions are melodrama and scare tactics. Youtube is littered with climate change predictions of leftist scientists and politicians over the last four or five decades that have largely proven to be untrue.

A ten second google search shows your claim that polar bear populations are exploding is full of sh*t. This apparently is some sort of right wing myth-like hopes and prayers will bring back the victims of mass shootings.

Ummm . . . SlowSpyder behaves here as expected. The rest of you get an award for the most subtle notes of sarcasm that make it seem difficult to identify.

But, per the original post, why wouldn't there be more sea-ice in the Bering Sea, if more chunks of ice are breaking off the ice-cap due to climate change?

And anyone who thinks scientists promote their ideas or sense of understanding as a result of some socialistic obsession -- is totally nuts. Oh! It's all such a great Left-Wing plot! Thousands and thousands of people, conspiring together! Of those many thousands, did anyone ever come forward to confirm this great conspiracy? How could so many thousands of experts be so loyal to a socialist objective, when Trump's staff and affiliates turn on him as much as he turns on them? There, we're only talking about dozens or hundreds.

They are IMO on par with chemtrailers and flatearthers. Somehow thousands of airplane personnel and thousands of scientists all manage keep these vast conspiracies secret.

AGAIN....
Climate change or more accurate global warming IS NOT about ice or snowballs.
Climate change is flooding where flooding has never happened before. Then repeating itself.
Climate change are tornadoes so powerful that entire communities are wiped out. Year after year.
Climate change is a climate gone berserk.
Need proof?
After every climate tragedy, after every flood, after every hurricane, after every occurrence when the survivors are interviewed one common remark will be repeated, "I HAVE LIVED HERE ALL MY LIFE, AND THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE."
Every time something really awful and totally unexpected happened you hear those words, from survivor after survivor.
From tragedy after tragedy be it floods or tornadoes or hurricanes or mud slides or extreme heat or extreme cold. And occurring in places having never occurred before.
Except now it is the trend, The norm. The direct result of Climate change i.e. GLOBAL WARMING.

And it could actually be funny if not so tragic, that the last words from most climate change deniers will be.... as they take their last breath..... "I HAVE LIVED HERE ALL MY LIFE, AND THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. GULP GULP GASP ARGGGG...."

Climate change deniers are very much like anti vaccine goof balls.
They deny until all hell breaks lose.
Like those Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann vaccine denier followers, whose kids are now dying from Measles.
Is it tragic, or just a little bit funny as hell?
When the evidence is right there before you and you still prefer to believe some lame brain lunatic, doesn't one deserve what they then get?
I think so....

That one may not be true, or maybe true initially but then fades into oblivion a few decades later.

You see, Tornadoes require a mass of cold air slamming down across the heated Gulf air. Now, the Gulf air may be a little more spicy but once the Arctic is ice free there won't be much of a cold air mass anymore. Global Warming will greatly reduce the temperature differential between the poles and the equator.

Global warming is causing increased extreme weather.
