THe problem today is either idiots in administration, or women who know nothing as tech people. I'm not saying all women, but in a generality women lack the problem solving skills that men have to figure things out. Of course men lack things that women have as well.

We need better educated people teaching, to many morons with shoddy ba's are in the classrooms with no teaching experiance or training worth a flip.

I never understood the point of suspension. It seems to me that giving students a 3 day vacation should not be considered punishment.

Dude. this says EVERYTHING about the K-12 system. OH NOOEEES!!! NET SEND!!! ALL SCHOOL GRADES ARE COMPROMISED!!! dont they have an IT at the school to clarify things? oh, nm, i guess its a middle school. anyway, how IDIOIC can the computer teacher be? okay, lets put it in perspective. if a computer TEACHER thinks netsend is some security risk, i wouldnt be surprised if this computer TEACHER doesnt even know how to use a start button. i mean cmon, wtf?!?!?

i didnt tell you about the time i got in trouble big time once in HS in 9th grade. i wanted to make some edits to a paper i had during break because the paper was due next period. so i proceeded to a school PC in the library and logged on to my FTP server that i host my files on (for remote use). downloaded it, edited, printed. next day, got called up for thorough questioning on what i was doing on a "private external account" WTF?! you dont know how it is discussing these things with school administrators, they dont understand computer terms etc. and everything sounds fishy to them. but i dont blame them, they're too stupid to understand anyhow.

my other friend goes to a public school with wireless networking where every student is issued a laptop. he and some friends sent a lot of cuss words via netsend to the entire school wifi network just for the hell of it (its boring in classes). all the admin of the school did was send a netsend back warning him not to do it anymore, or he would disable that "privelege" (netsend service). thats more like it.

im not saying you dont punish someone for breaking rules. but give me a break. suspension for /netsend? thats like saying you get suspended for a week for accidentally tossing a rock. or talking during class. can you imagine what itd be like if you cracked a harmless knock knock joke in class and then got suspended for it?
