One thing I wonder if Trump might be trying to do here is to drag Pence down with him to up the stakes for Republican Senators. ie: 'if I go down, Pence goes down with me, leaving you with President Pelosi.'

I also wonder how Mike Pence feels about this, haha.

Trump may be smart enough to do that but I’m not sure.
He is a baby who will throw blame at everyone he can

Mke Pence feels nothing.

Of that, everyone is certain.

EDIT: Mike Pence feels only what Mother allows him to feel. (all meanings for "feel" inferred)

I really doubt it's that well considered.

More random genius brain shambles: Mike was there! Tell them Mike what a perfect call it was! Especially the part where I asked for the favor. *insert visible winking*

Very true, it could simply be a happy byproduct (for him) of his desperate, flailing attempts to blame anyone but himself.

Could be but honestly I’m not sure because the plot is devious enough that someone like Sloppy Steve Brannon May have said it and the President listened.
Really tough question to decide

Looks like Rick Perry will be out of a job soon

Opps....

I hope Perry has a new pair of smartifying glasses to wear to his hearing.

It's kind of amazing that the moron that couldn't remember his own department existed has turned out to be the most competent and least corrupt member of Trump's cabinet. Rick Perry might be the only person to come out of this dumpster fire looking better than when he went in.

We will see, I have a feeling Rick will be a good boy and provide cover. He may screw it up because he’s dumb and he may have some manner of respect for the committee since he was involved in them while in office.
I am not sure.

I mean who knows, he also might just not have been part of the discussions where they pressured Ukraine. Mostly I just think it's interesting that he's largely avoided the clownish and corrupt behavior of the other cabinet secretaries.

Agreed, Perry has been intentionally or more likely unintentionally smart about everything. Laying low is a good policy in this White House.

I kind of doubt Perry has much involvement if any. He's kept his head down and focused on molecules of freedom.

Trump probably couldn't tell you what agency he was in charge of if you asked.

Meeting with State Department IG is now over..

Now we wait!
All I can say is...WTF. Apparently, a pile of emails, news articles, ect. with conspiracy theories about the Bidens and others, was just dumped on the committe with 0 explanation. You'd be hard pressed to find out anything hard about it. False flag?

This is pretty much what I thought originally as well:

If I thought Trump was smart, I would think Trump is doing that as payback to Republican support for him starting to crumble. "Tell them you would impeach me if you could do it anonymously? Fine, I'll bring down Pence with me so you get President Pelosi!"

However, I do not think Trump is smart, so the more likely explanation is that he is grasping for anything to keep his head above water. "Why are you attacking me when Pence has done the same thing?!"
