Got mine today and I like it.
The Good Stuff:
The stated contrast ratio of 1200:1 is accurate and displays images really well. Colors are vivid. The menu buttons are easy to use. The thin bezels really make a difference aesthetically. Bigger than I thought it would be, completely overshadows my 17" CRT. Absolutely no ghosting while watching multimedia. Gotta stress on the nice picture again

.
The Bad Stuff:
The tilt degree on the stock stand is tiny and not enough, would suggest a better stand. Wobbles a bit on stand. As I have mine on a platform, the lowest it can tilt was still not low enough so I had to elevate the back with a couple of CD cases for a better viewing angle. Had to get the angles perfect or it would be too dim or too bright, as with most LCDs. Out of box gamma may be too bright for some but I found it just perfect. Menu options are on the low side. I noticed that it wasn't as sharp as my CRT when running HDTV direct from the airwaves. I watched Conan in HDTV for a while using my ATI HDTV Wonder but it wasn't as "good" as I'd hoped it would be and was a bit grainy. Gaming is possible but needs sacrafices in resolution. Personally, I can't game with anything under 85hz refresh rate. The monitor only supports this timing at 1152x864, jumps to 800x600, then everything under 8x6. There is some light bleed from the top but it's minimal and undistracting.
Although it may seem that there are more bad than good points, I still like it very much. The 1680x1050 wallpaper that I set on it alone almost wins me over cause it's just so damn pretty. I bought this purely for movies and videos and it does the job quite nicely. I can't say it's the best in anything but for $300, it's ... excellent.
Edit: With the lights off, the bleeding from the top and bottom are more apparent but not terrible. Also, I forgot to factor in distance for the grainy multimedia, they look just fine with a little more distance.
