Kanye West can say that "George Bush hates black people" on national TV, and idiot churches can post signs like these. That's why I love this country.
Not on the west coast, he can't.
(was edited for us, because west coasters are too fragile i guess)

Kanye West never said that. He said "Bush doesn't care about black people."

EDIT: Blah, meant to quote Gravity here.

:disgust: Why? Because of the reflective lettering?

Anyway, the sign has since been changed. It now says something incomprehensible, which I guess is an improvement.

I never thought about the irony involved with Rita headed right for us, but I guess that is a tad funny.

So what! The fact that some one can compare NO to Sodom and Gommorah is the reason I love this country.

Don't like it, move somewhere else!

Again, another example of a bunch of morons out of touch with reality thinking that everything around them is somehow faked, falsified or otherwise surreal in some way. This is the reason that the P&N forum is so fvcked up, because so many of the people who post here simply cannot use reason.

Typical holier than thou insensitive bible thumpers. Someone should take the moron who thought that up out and give him/her a good beating.

If Las Vegas gets wiped out, then where California go for their sinful entertainment?

Everyone's entitled to their views, however obscene they may be. I don't see any laws being broken here.

agreed. everyone else has their opinions on the situation and people of NO, why cant they?

insensitive, yes IMO. but no worse than a million other things surrounding this tragedy.

hmmm some church puts up an insensitive sign about NO, NO and Louisiana governments can't find a decent way to evacuate people.

hmmmm, which one do i think is worse.

well, on my list of bad things that happened to NO, i think this sign would go WAYYYY WAYYY to the back of the line.

oh ya, and even if i did get to it, so what, they are entitled to their opinion.
