You keep saying she is Big Oil, but that is BS. She is the first Governor we had had in a while that wasn't in the pocket of Big Oil. She revoked their leases on wells they drilled and capped because they were waiting for the price of oil to rise, despite the fact that the wording of the leases stipulated that the wells had to be developed and the oil brought to market. There is pending legal action between Alaska and the oil companies. Yeah, she is really in their pocket. :roll:

As for Pliablemoose, I'll agree that Obama is a "rockstar," but that's about as deep as his platform goes. No policies, just "Change, yes, change! No more Bush for 4 years, blah." Not that the Republicans have a terribly sturdy platform to run on ATM but I think that McCain's VP pick will help him out tremendously when it comes time to vote.

Kinda funny how both sides "know" that the other has lost...really I think it's gonna be an interesting election and I look forward to seeing how the people vote.

LOL! The Iraq issue is a done deal. Either president will bring troops home around the same time now due to the Surge that McCain supported and Obama did not. As far as taking care of the soldiers when they return, well, McCain supports that as well, if not more than Obama.

As nearly everyone knows, I am a partisan dem, and while I do not know much about Palin yet, but from a neutral perspective, I think McCain made a very good pick and underestimating it could turn into a giant mistake for democrats.

Lots of good image, but will the substance match the image is the question for Palin?
