Enemy Belligerent Act

Anyone who supports, introduces or entertains invoking such unconstitutional nonsense should be brought up on charges of treason.

Damn, not sure how exactly I missed that story, but I'll agree with you here - that is clearly anathema to the Constitution and could be considered treason for those sworn to uphold it.

I still maintain that the label of coward doesn't apply to him though as his conduct in combat and in captivity indicates otherwise.

I'm pro-torture. If I ever become a terrorist I agree to be tortured for information, so I am not being hypocritical in any way.
Insurgents define US soldiers as being terrorists because they're occupying a country for no reason......

Are you suggesting it's ok for insurgents to torture US troops?

Your right. I use the coward term just to be derogatory toward him.

As for the Santorum comparison to Bush, he may be smarter but he wants to continue the same policies.

So do you agree to be tortured even if you aren't a terrorist? What if someone thinks you are one, but made a mistake? Because plenty of people have been tortured that are innocent.

I am guessing you do mind that, so your comment is ridiculous.

I don't believe I mentioned anything about torturing suspected terrorists. Its good to know that the left supports this though.

Well, the US tortured innocent people, it's a fact. You *cannot* only torture "guilty" people.

So again, you willing to be tortured for being in the wrong place at the wrong time? Case of mistaken identify? It's happened before.

I guess no, since chickenhawks don't like to suffer themselves, they only like to inflict it on others.

I would argue that the term 'terrorist' has a distinct definition by civilized human beings. If a U.S. citizen/soldier was engaged in such activities I would not be opposed to using torture against them to deter further attacks. If you are going to agree with the insurgent definition of terrorist then you probably should support an immediate war crimes trial against Obama. Do you think Obama is a war criminal and should be tried as such or would you agree that civilized societies have the ability to differential between acts of terrorism and acts of war or self defense? Just as civilized human beings are able to determine the difference between a murderer and someone who shoots another person because they are threatening them, I think we can make a pretty clear distinction between a soldier engaged in war and a terrorist.

I realize the concept of right and wrong is pretty wishy washy in the left's mind. Its probably hard for you to conceptualize a soldier not being a terrorist, but for those of us with logical thought capabilities its quite easy to do.

All the ones who support torture should have to endure it. They know they won't have to so its easy to hold such inhumane thoughts.

Ok, should all those who support abortion be forced to endure it? I consider that an inhumane act as well. Who gets to define inhumane, you? Why are you forcing your religious and moral views on me? You aren't one of those bible thumping teabaggers are you?

I also think anyone who is against capital punishment should be forced to have murderers live with them and their family to show their support. Seems only fair.

Well, the US has also convicted and incarcerated innocent people, its a fact. So should we stop sending people to jail since innocent people sometimes get convicted? Are you willing to go to jail for a crime you didn't commit because of mistaken identity or wrong place wrong time?

I guess no, so I can only assume you are pro-criminal like most liberals. Libtards don't like consequences, they only like it when its applied toward people who disagree with them.

This game is fun! 😀

Holy straw man batman.

1) Comparing the legalization of a voluntary act to an involuntary one.

2) Portraying the alternative to capital punishment as having a murder living with your family. Well if they're not dead they must be living with the victim's families!

Just when you think that the lineup of possible GOP candidates couldn't make themselves look any more ridiculous ...

I might be lost, but did you just refer to abortion as a involuntary act?

I'd love to have you set forth that definition, for I think the term terrorist is frankly quite overused. Nearly every single tinpot dictatorship contends revolutionaries or even demonstrators are terrorists.

Then we can progress to the issue of the USA executing Japanese for waterboarding during WW II as war criminals. Too bad they didn't know the neocon politically correct term back then, we would have had to release them and pat them on the back instead.
