Your input is just as valuable as anyone else's. I appreciate your comments. I was just wondering about peoples experiences. I myself traded some items for a brand new Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD and they (Kingston) released a firmware too. Just wan't sure if it was to fix the SF issues as well.

Thanks.. appreciate you taking me at face value even if I love my Sandforce drives a little too vocally around here at times. LOL Kidding... mostly.

I don't have that drive in particular but I do visit the othe mfgrs forums that utize them in their products and all I can really say is this. They are all showing great success.

In general.. OCZ leads the way for testing and troubleshooting these sorts of issues(maybe primarily due to sales volume and being first to market on most ocassions?).. with much of the competition following shortly after. So, when you see a major fix that is proven to work in a big way.. it's usually a few weeks or less after that point that the others will also follow suit with similar fixes/updates.

With consideration that previous trend.. it seems safe/logical to say that the latest major advancements that Sandforce has released would in fact be very similar in code regardless of the mfgr using them.

Just some more input from a Sandforce student working on his masters degree with these controllers. Plus, as a beta-tester for this controller.. it pays to know as much as possible regardless of the mfgr using it.
