Looks at though even the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is angry that the San Jose police department knowingly put Trump supporters in danger.
"“the officers acted with deliberate indifference to a known and obvious danger” and violated the Trump supporters’ constitutional rights,” said the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco."

"After the rally at the McEnery Convention Center, police directed those in attendance to leave from a single exit. There, according to the lawsuit, they were ordered to head out onto a street where hundreds of anti-Trump protesters were waiting, even though a safer route and other exits were available." .........

"But the court said the officers, according to the allegations in the lawsuit, had known of violence at past pro-Trump rallies and were reporting assaults outside the convention center in the hours before the San Jose rally."

It looks as if the continuing narrative that violence is OK as long as it's directed at people you disagree with is perfectly acceptable on the left. Rocks to the face are only a bad thing if they happen to someone you agree with.

Second ruling in a week from the 9th that blows my mind. Did the get a bunch of new judges or what?
Could be based in fears that the court will be broken up and dispersed. There were rumors flying around about that possibility a year or so ago.

It's also an attempt to make police officers and departments more responsible for actions they don't take along with actions they do.

Whaaaat?

I'm so conflicted. Who are the bad guys?

What should have happened is that the thumpers sould have been better informed and prepared. Spray the crowd of aggressors with bear mace to drive them off and protect them selves. Simple. Asthma antagonists be damned.

edit: why aren't the assaulted glorified here?

Ha, we already know...

Well, the word has spoken.

Maybe you should have a conversation with one of us "racists."

Back to the topic and away from political correctness run amok.

https://www.upi.com/California-judg...San-Jose-police-may-go-forward/4891532908257/

"The judges wrote that by "shepherding them into a crowd of violent protesters," the "officers acted with deliberate indifference to the danger."

Hernandez told KPIX-TV the police officers' actions were politically motivated.

"San Jose Police were largely indifferent to us because we were Trump supporters. They had ample time to figure out the plans and contingencies," he said."
