can't confirm it at this point, but I'm hearing that there won't be *a* galaxy s ii for at&t. expect a family.

God I hope this is true. If there's only a slider, I might as well hold out for the next Nexus.

Wow, naturally AT&T had to completely ruin what should have been the perfect phone. I was planning on replacing my Captivate with a Galaxy S2 but there is no chance that will happen if it has a keyboard. I'd actually buy the much slower Infuse over this phone

Yes I don't understand why everyone hates keyboards? Even if it comes with one, no one is forcing you to use it. Last I checked the touchscreen worked just fine with the keyboard folded in.

A keyboard will more than double the thickness of the phone.

Who cares? I don't wear super tight skinny jeans, if you can't stand an extra few cm on a phone...

That doesn't look thick at all.

it makes it thickier and heavier,

honestly the only time i use the KB on my OG Droid is when i flash a rom and have to set it up again (it forces you to use the KB) if it didnt i would never use it

I wouldn't mind a keyboard actually. I assume this is how US carriers are trying to differentiate it further from the dual-core moto phones.

It's official... I'm holding onto my iphone 4 until this comes out on ATT. It was already going to be worth waiting for, but I like the idea of a keyboard too.

Awesome, and here I was hoping for a thicker version of the GS2. I hate how everything has to be lighter and thinner, I love a good heft.

Looks like Chris is right...
