What is everyone paying for their 12pk? i just picked one up for $13.99... trying to figure out if thats a good price or not... but the beer itself is delicious. drinking straight from the bottle... malty for sure. almost a brown sugar flavor at the end... wish i had a mug to taste it out of, bet this beer gives great head.

On par/avg. A few places here in Dallas are selling SA for $12.99, but don't see it much cheaper than that.

I thought the cherry wheat was ok, kinda interesting. The black lager is fucking amazing.

Sam's a craft brewery (< 2mil barrels).

Sam's is macrobrewery taste at craft brewery volume and price. They may have started the micro brewery trend but have been easily been outpaced. Their 4 pack of double bock is more than the 6 pack used to be and tastes like crap. But I guess they have good commercials.

you can't call it macro taste...if sam isnt big enough to be considered macro, than the companies that are big enough aren't producing anything decent. sam adams is many tiers above the coors/buds...

and sam is a public company i believe, which doesnt help

Got a 4 pack of the DFH punkin ale. Still like the Weyerbacher better but this comes in a close second. My tongue is still tingling from the spices....yum yum!

I won't be able to get any Weyerbacher this year. :( I do prefer ST's Pumking to even Weyerbacher, though. For me it goes ST's Pumking, Weyerbacher's Imperial Pumpkin, DFH's Pumpking, then maybe Shipyard's Pumpkin ale.

A New Yorker and fan of pumpkin bears that hasn't tried Southern Tier's Pumking? Shame on you! Well, I guess Lakewood is basically Canada/PA anyway. :p Should be easy for you to find some, though.
