Or a gay....which is still up in the air IMO.
nah brah he's like all about pumpin iron and lickin pussies.

You need to take a good long look at whether Computer Science is what you really want to do. It's not so much the fact that you're having a hard time with Calculus 1 (though that is something of a red flag), but that you're willing to give it up so easily. Engineering will kick your butt up and down, and if you give up at the first sign of failure you're in for a rough six years or so.
Also, Starting Strength is pretty solid, and it'll make you hungry. 3000 calories isn't that hard anyway, a Chipotle burrito by itself is over 1k. Reading this thread makes it seem like you doom your efforts before you even begin.
For me it is. I down a Winco chocolate chip muffin every freaking morning for breakfast and that fills me quite easily. Some days I can't even eat the whole thing because I get sick from it. If I have trouble downing a 350 calorie muffin, then I probably am going to have way more trouble with a 1k+ burrito...
You are an incorrigible defeatist buddy boy.
It's just the truth... If I try to stuff my face then I get diarrhea every time. (And I mean, every time...)
Edit: When I said meet ladies I meant meet ladies and actually go out on dates and possibly get laid once in a while even. So far, I meet them and then they run away screaming froot loops. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I think it's just how I look.
Then you fucking stay in school. Work any sidejob you can if you have too.
DO NOT come out on a downswing. You will set your life's income based on that first real salary almost all of the time.
It's really not all that bad right now (especially CS...). I just graduated with a Business IT degree (think Systems Engineering), and talking to the people in my graduating class, it sounds like salaries range anywhere from 58-65k+ (D.C. area). Plus, it sounds like he won't be graduating for another 6-7 years anyway.
I just graduated. Degree in engineering. Took me 6 years from start to finish (with ~15 major changes in the first 3 years before settling).
Got a C+, B-, C, C-, C, and C+ in the six required calculus classes. More C- scores in courses that followed. Finished with a 2.4 GPA.
Now I have ~$90k in loans. Job prospects are meek since construction industry sucks. Likely to take a $30k-$40k job and work my way up.
But, after all that, I still don't look at life like you do.
Time to forget how you used to be and put all your effort into what you want to be. It sounds easy but it's hard.
Better start soon or you'll wake up at 40 and realized you're REALLY fucked.
self-control, bootstraps, etc.
wut?
Not to sounds too pessimistic, but unless you have some actual work experience and/or certifications landing a Systems Engineering job right out of school is going to be tough, especially in this job market. I'm not saying you can't, and I'm not sure how good/bad the DC market is, but that's not where most Business IT Degree people start. Most start in Helpdesk, desktop support, etc. then move into system and network engineering/administration. In DC these entry level jobs might pay close to the pay range you listed though, I'm not sure.
No, it's not how you look. It's the fruit loops, bro. And you're probably just acting all weird around them.
Plenty of dudes that look way worse than you get trim all the time.
You just need a personality.
WOW!!!!!!
you actually gave up on the first damn day????
If you are going to give up that easy you might as well just drop out of school completely.
This pretty much sums up (re)TardenT's life.
Clearly, the only solution to your problems is to slash your wrists.
