That's too bad, it my favorite holiday. Get to hang out with family & friends, eat a bunch of really good food and you don't have the commercialization like we get around Christmas.

Does anyone see a way to make more teams here? With Ronin & Borg's big numbers it gunna be hard i think to have more than 2 teams, as it stands now.

Well, one method is to "penalize" individual users, and can therefore get more teams.

Example, 90% penalty on Ronin would mean 600/day would only count as 60/day, and 95% penalty on amdxborg would mean 45.95/day instead of 919/day.

Another possibility is to give bonus, or a fixed penalty/bonus instead of %-penalty/bonus.

- OK everyone, the race starts on October 10th (Canadian Thanksgiving) & runs to November 24th (US Thanksgiving). I suppose going by UTC time would be easiest.

- Dump your caches before the race starts!!! No pre-race caching!!!

Was just an example how only counting a fraction of someones production could lead to more teams, and pointing out can use different fraction for different users. It's really just as easily example put amdxborg on one team and ronin on another with +319 wu/day, and the rest of the users split into 3 teams getting roughly 600+ or 3x bonus...


When again, it's really no problem with having only 2 teams also, it's even possible to move 2 users from team1 and one user from team2, so both production and team-size is the same.


As for start, don't remember when Soni normally pulls the MTR-stats, if it's 02 or 03 local time, meaning 00 or 01 GMT at start of race and 01 or 02 GMT at end of race due to summer-time ending.

When again, there's also a possibility the MTR ends a little sooner... :evil:
