Im a Christian, however I wouldnt want a country where ANY religion, including one I believe in, is the basis of the country. I prefer the USA in that we have freedom of region even those we disagree with. Its similar to my views on abortion. I think its wrong, I dont support it, but I wouldnt outlaw it if I was king for a day. Sometimes whats best for the country, and the freedom of choice, is more valuable thnt my personal views.

Good luck with that. IIRC the last time I discussed that topic with you, you believed that abortion is murder but it's A-OK in the case of rape. I'm just not sure how many religious fanatics would agree with you.

Sounds like a good idea to me, it would fix two issues at once. America would be instantly better and Russia would go under in a matter of decades, either from a poor economy or from a severe population decline from pollution with all the new found oil consumers.

The Russians should entice future villagers by promising a 30 foot statue of Trump in the town square. Russia: Teaching the snowflakes about actual snow (10 months out of the year).

Too cruel. I'd be okay with giving them Texas and Florida, as long as we build a wall between us and them. Require covid and hepatitis vaccinations before they could visit the rest of the country, as well as rabies and distemper.

You know 10 years ago I wouldn't have dreamed of saying this but Democrats are NOW the party of LESS Government.

You want to be straight, bi, trans, gay, christian, muslim, satanic.. more power to you.. the government treats you equally.

The dems only really step in with life or death stuff, like healthcare, fema care and trying to stop mass shootings.

You want abortion? You don't have to do it but up to you ma'am!



Where as GOP governors like DeSantis has government everywhere….school rooms, patients and their doctors, corporate speech, sports, ….you name it… he has gotten the FL state government involved in it.

I can write more stuff, but I think you get the point. Oh and they don't want democracy either now.. they want to RULE and not run a government to serve the people that chooses to elect them for ONE term every 4 years.

The republicans have always been this way - the saying is they want government to be small enough to fit in your bedroom.

Their stance is and always has been that the government should strictly enforce morality and nothing else.

I've been saying for years that Russia should be doing this. The reality is, with climate change, chances are the whole world is going to be fighting over who gets the remains of Russia after they collapse and countries seek land for their displaced people. Southeast Asia is gonna have like a billion people to try to relocate in the next 100 years. It also shows why Russia can't trust China though, as China will definitely be eagerly looking at the land and resources that will be opening up as Russia thaws due to climate change.
