In all fairness their version of "Christian morals" seems to align with the views of religious conservatives in the US. The Russian orthodox church has been trying to grow here by pushing a the viewpoint.

You know 10 years ago I wouldn't have dreamed of saying this but Democrats are NOW the party of LESS Government.

You want to be straight, bi, trans, gay, christian, muslim, satanic.. more power to you.. the government treats you equally.

Where as GOP governors like DeSantis has government everywhere….school rooms, patients and their doctors, corporate speech, sports, ….you name it… he has gotten the FL state government involved in it.

I've been saying for years that Russia should be doing this. The reality is, with climate change, chances are the whole world is going to be fighting over who gets the remains of Russia after they collapse and countries seek land for their displaced people. Southeast Asia is gonna have like a billion people to try to relocate in the next 100 years. It also shows why Russia can't trust China though, as China will definitely be eagerly looking at the land and resources that will be opening up as Russia thaws due to climate change.
