Too cruel. I'd be okay with giving them Texas and Florida, as long as we build a wall between us and them. Require covid and hepatitis vaccinations before they could visit the rest of the country, as well as rabies and distemper.

lol

Gonna need a lot more than 200 people. Maybe we can help fund them for like 20 million conservatives?

Where's the gofundme for this worthy cause? There's 51 million residents in Florida and Texas that we can ship over. Make sure a requirement is to denounce US Citizenship.

Barring that, can we finally build that wall? Block off Texas and Florida from the saner parts or the US.

The country is already subsidizing many of them; it'd be a long-term savings.
As long as they have to renounce their American citizenships I'm on board for the crowdfunding.
Yep, strip their citizenship after they leave. Security, if nothing else.

This should be great. All you gun totin' redneck conservatives bitch about how great Putin is. You would choose a Russian over a Democrat.

Now's your chance. Get the fuck out. Go somewhere where you are surrounded with like-minded people. Authoritarian, Christian, heterosexual white and armed to the tooth.

Tens of thousands of Americans moved to Russia in the 20s and 30s. Many were committed socialists, others were driven by the Depression.

What does Russia think they’re getting out of this? Their best and brightest want to come here to escape oppression and war, and they want to take our dumbest and most useless in return? Lol. Sounds good to me.

This reminds me of numerous attempts conservatives/libertarians have made to free themselves from the shackles of evil socialism, from New Hampshire to Colorado Springs to various attempts in in central or South America. They all failed rapidly.

Propaganda and a couple of hundred American hostages. You might not want them back and want to wash your hands of them but, politically, abandoning American born nationals is going to be a bad look.

The only thing that worries me about shipping Magats to Russia is they're going to find that they'd jump from the frying pan into the fire and want to come back and be happy with messing with the liberals again instead of their getting fucked with by Putin's FSB. Got'ta find a way to keep them over there once they're gone. Fuck all to those losers if they think America is worse off without them and we'd be sorry to see them go.

Reminds me of a retirement party I attended that didn't include the asshat superintendent retiree, where we all sang with jolly merriment "We hate to see you go, we hate to see you go, but what the fuck you waiting for, we hate to see you go."

The day he left he thought he'd take his last walk around the shop floor and individually shake hands with the employees to thank them for their support. Well what he found was that everyone there was evading him as he took what we called the walk of shame through the halls. Word came back from the office workers that he threw a hissy fit and damn near wrecked his office on his way out the door. lol

I think the only group that made it was the Confederados down in Brazil. Far as I know they are still a confederate flag waving group of assholes to this day. The Brazilian monarchy at the time outright gave them land and subsidies though, far from the 'you pay for it' deal the Russians seem to want.

I'm with a lot of others on this - if the magats renounce their citizenship for this offer I will be one of those only too happy to chip in for one-way airfare. I don't care what's preped or not for them on the other end. Good riddance to traitors.
