You know it is a culture divide between right and left; the skill vs corrupt unskilled. I mean it is in plain sight you have a clown running hhs and military and well just abut everything up to the presidency which by the way is why he has to paint himself orange all the time; needs that good clown look.

Is that like a 14 to 1 kill ratio in favor of Ukraine?
Is DJT pulling those numbers out of his ass? If Russia actually lost 100k KIA in 7 months, they are getting fucked hard and could simply collapse if that keeps going. But that's probably not exactly what's going on these past 7 months. We do know that broadly speaking, Russia doesn't value the lives of its grunts all that much. Through Ukraine's bravery and ingenuity, they are fighting a much larger adversary to a near draw.

Wiki has some estimates for the entire war since 2022, the KIA ratio is about 5 to 2 (caveat: nobody really knows).

Some analysis and points....

View attachment 128885

1) Ukraine already had US security guaranties via the Budapest Memorandum. Didn't really count for much.
2) Putin will never meet with Zelenskyy. Putin doesn't acknowledge Ukrainian sovereignty and Zelenskyy as its President.
3) Trump wants a peace deal. He doesn't care what it costs.

So I sincerely hope that Ukraine and Europe has a plan B. They really need to go it mostly alone and treat the USA as a military hardware store and hope that Trump will keep its intel flowing and keep the Russian banks from the Swift network.
The only US security guarantee in the Budapest memorandum was that the US would not invade Ukraine and it did not.

What a lovely way to ensure nuclear proliferation then.
If we will not stand for and actively defend those without, then we betray life on earth. Including our own.

You can like it or dislike it if you want but it's a very enduring myth that the US said it would protect Ukraine in that memorandum and the US just... did not.

Here's my conspiracy theory:

Following his 1-2-1 in the beast, this will have been discussed and agreed

Trump will come around to Europe's way of thinking
Trump will agree and tell Putin that he must immediately agree to a ceasefire within 48hrs "or else"
Zelensky will agree and abide by the ceasefire
Putin will create a falseflag attack and Trump will fall for it
Trump has an exit route without losing too much face

But honestly since Trump wants to take America back to older times.. EU and Zelensky should ask for Trump and Putin' to be decapitated as a condition for peace.

Remember Caesar, Pompei and Egypt? It's not the first time in history for such a demand and it's been met happily by people willing to sacrifice for their countries!

There will be no ceasefire because Russia does not want a ceasefire. Nothing of importance will come from this.

Looks like both Trump and Zelensky don't want a repeat of the previous Oval Office incident and are on best behavior, avoiding contentious questions from the press. So far Vance has kept his month shut.

Why couldn’t you say Obama bowed out of ignorance also?

Why do you constantly do a double standard between dems and republicans?
No double standard found. In response I posted an image showing Obama doing an equally ignorant action as Trump. Then Stated that was Obama Bowing...

They were both Ignorant in their actions.

Why do you constantly do a double standard between Democrats and Republicans?

Obama bowed to greet a royal ally, not an adversary (this is pre-bone saw/pre-MBS Saudi Arabia too).

Anyone think behind the scenes think the EU are making plans to enter the war as a contingency?
LOL, how exactly does the EU “declare war”? And with what army??

I don’t think the monkey circus in Brussels has figured that part out yet.

The EU isn't a military organization. However there is multiple countries that if necessary could send troops into Ukraine.

Didn't some say earlier that Trump was wanting to shutout the European heads of state?

Would love to know what Zelensky is saying about Trump away from the WH behind closed doors? Smart move by Zelensky how thank FLOTUS in front of the cameras.

They still need a European version of NATO to coordinate anything beyond Germany, Poland and France taking action. That’s what’s lacking, and I don’t see anything solving for that in the short term. Zelenskyy should be very careful about letting any more troops on Ukrainian soil too.

The US has spent since the end of WW2 making sure they are at the center of NATO and trying to prevent European specific military coordination from occurring. The fact that this needs to change has been driven home to the Europeans that this needs to change. We will have to see what they do. However the increased defense spending is a good start.

Why should Zelensky be careful about letting European troops onto Ukrainian soil?
