Europe has (correctly) determined that the US is currently an adversary. Even if you take out the 'current' part it doesn't really matter as Europe has also realized US foreign policy commitments are no longer stable so even if someone sane returns to the White House they have no guarantee against another crazy criminal four years after that.

Hard to see how US international influence comes back after this, at least anytime soon. We would likely need some sort of major internal upheaval to make other countries reconsider if they can trust us.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems that Germany has already supported us, as have France, Spain, and others. We don't give up💪
And we thank everyone for the support.

Don't be sorry, I know that the Germans strongly support us, and I personally know many who, in particular, have given their lives here. And no politician will change that.

Sadly, it's a lot worse than that. If this is just Trump being a big baby, that's expected (other world leaders have learned to deal with that BS). But he's clearly trying to cut a deal for his overlord Putin. We all knew last year that Trump was going to sell Ukraine out, but Zelenskyy is just in an impossible spot. He can't hold off the Russian bear for very long without western munitions. But he also can't just accept a one-sided "deal" on Trump's Putin's terms.

Yes, they have in the past when the US was also on board. Not really choosing a side then as "everyone is doing it".

We sort of live in a different world now. One where the US appears to be openly adversarial towards a free country actually defending itself from invasion, and demanding some sort of "tribute" in return for what amounts to the change someone finds in their couch (pun intended) cushions. Any Euro nation making public proclamations now is essentially throwing in on their own because they understand the consequences.

And everyone should stand with Ukraine. Outside of Putin and Krasnov.

If the Russians think this will politically weaken Zelensky then lol. Same good judgment that thought the Ukrainians would welcome them with open arms.

Somehow, he accidentally left out a few tiny details—like the CIA funding the Maidan coup, running more spy bases on Russia’s border than Starbucks has locations, and how Minsk 1 and 2 were just glorified waiting rooms for more weapons shipments to Ukraine. Oh, and let’s not forget Ukraine mysteriously backing out of the Istanbul agreements right after a pep talk from Boris “Trust Me, Bro” Johnson.

Next time, try doing your own research instead of getting your world history lessons from Scaramucci, the guy who spent less time in the White House than a DoorDash delivery.
