It really shows how shut off Russia has become from the rest of the world that they think anyone would actually believe that.
While our own super patriot "ultra nationalist" have options, but choose to self-shut themselves off from reality. Sad!

Talking head outlines the possible scenarios for Russia using nukes, which range from "not going to happen" to "slight possibility if, if, if . . ." despite our OP calling the interview "chilling."
Yes, I call the prospect of 500.000 to a couple of million dead chilling.
Its chilling cause the end of this thing is not right around the corner.
Its chilling cause the historical perspective of where this is going and where it'll end in half a generations time either way, which means this is a moot fucking exercise anyway.
Lots of chills if you ask me.
I must admit that I've broken a rule of mine, I am getting through the entire episode before I chime back in.

Fortune favors the bold. Also, a tank moving directly at you tends to elicit responses that favor the aggressor.
Yeah, that's what I keep thinking, but turns out there is always some fker with an RPG and anti armor kit.

Oh, but who are we kidding here. IRL it's the Russians. Those poor meat bags probably weren't even issued socks.

I guarantee you if they had an RPG, they would have fired when it was 100 yards out. Not enough nuts in that hole to wait for the whites of their eyes.

Ok I guess Stykers might join the party too. The MGS would be the US analog to the French AMX-10RCs....

From the article:
Sending powerful armored vehicles such as the Bradley and Strykers could be a precursor to providing tanks. But Western nations remain stuck in much the same place they have been for months — debating who goes big first.

“There’s a strange back and forth with the Europeans where any time anyone asks, the Europeans they say, ‘Well, you know, the U.S. should go first.’ And the administration said, ‘Well, we want the Europeans to go first or we want to do it together.’ And the Ukrainians are just saying, ‘For the love of God, just give us the tanks,’” said a person familiar with those discussions.

Herding cats I guess. Biden, wisely, doesn't want to make this look like yet another American proxy war. The Europeans sure seem skittish about pushing back against Russia (Putin). Do they understand that Ukraine HAS to win for their own sake? Are they just hoping Putin will die before they need to go all in?

Really? Have you seen the propaganda that American citizens PaTrIoTs have eaten up and believed hook line and sinker? A lot of it revolves around globalist santanic democrats putting babies in blenders (after they rape them) and drinking their blood to stay youthful
This kind of bugs me. I am a Patriot - I look back to all we've accomplished along the way from being a colony of GBR to a great nation in our own right and I am proud. I'm thankful for all those who've given their lives to get us to this point, even if some wars were completely idiotic for us to be in. Yes, getting here has left terrible scars in the memories of blacks and native North American people, etc and it seems almost impossible to overcome. But when has it ever been a clean and tidy business to build a nation as large as ours? Nowhere and never. I get tired of people who live in a bubble of a 30, 40 or 50 year old history.

The ultra nationalists, the blood and soil types, the Neo Nazis, the extreme racists - they can call themselves whatever they want, but they are not patriots. They live in another bubble in the past that "ist perfekt". They can all take a long walk off a short pier as far as I'm concerned. And, I do not care to be associated with them in anyway. //rant

Hopefully Ukraine will have paid far less in lives than the Russians have paid for this piece of land.
They have. Close to 1:8 ratio last time this was discussed.

I'm just wondering if this isn't part of a wider tactical maneuver from the Ukrainian side. Usually you start with the psyops. Encourage the Russians to commit to this front, and 'give up' Soledar and Bakhmut because shortly Russia won't be able to supply those area's and will have to pull out anyways.

Huh?
If you have not been following front line developments, then here is some additional reports regarding Soledar, which guards the north flank of Bakhmut.
I have been following it. But there is no strategic value to Bakhmut. The Ukrainians have plenty of defensive lines behind it. The only value of Bakhmut to the Ukrainians is the sheer amount of casulties they have been able to inflict on the Russian forces.

If the Ukrainians capture Kreminna-Svatove, Bakhmut and the surrounding area may be difficult to supply.

Edit: speaking of a wider tactical maneuver from the Ukrainian side... what does the Russians know?

That is not correct.

There is a great deal of value. Value in fighting the Russians at destroyed Bakhmut rather then still standing city of Kramatorsk. Kramatorsk has a great deal of value, and without Bakhmut the orcs were unable to even press it.

On the flip side Kramatorsk was where the Ukrainian Armed forces had planned to make their stand from the beginning. Unlike Bakhmut, it has years of fortifications built.

I know English is difficult for you, but here’s an FYI. We rarely make words plural by using apostrophes. Like the word Russian.

The plural is Russians. A possessive use of Russian is Russian’s…like he broke that Russian’s vodka bottle.

When talking about more than one Russian, the word is Russians…no apostrophe needed.

Just FYI. 🙂
