Indirectly related to the war: they've been stealing at least some of the fire/emergency service drones that would usually monitor and support wildfire suppression efforts, as they were needed to replace drone losses on the front lines in Ukraine (have seen photos of at least one taken down in Ukraine, still with the emergency services markings on it)Russia burns some more.
I have no idea if this is credible or not.Not. Never happened.
There is some 'drone' footage, but OSINT twitter folk says that its an animation, not real footage.I have no idea if this is credible or not.
NATO reconnaissance aircraft verify destruction of Admiral Makarov frigate

Boeing E-3A Sentry airborne early warning and control aircraft "cautiously peeked" into the Black Sea, and a US Air Force drone made more than one circle over the possible site of the Russian ship destruction.
....
Lots on the eastern front in ww2. Lots in ww1. Prepared positions often hold, especially when arrayed in depth, supported by artillery, and attacked with insufficient forces.
It's not far off, there were around 14000 aircraft involved flying 20000+ sorties.
When the chips are down you take the help you can get. The west allied with Stalin not that long ago and it’s not like they didn’t know who he was.
What's the neonazi group in Ukraine?
Also care to elaborate on the 2nd part?
BUT ?
I guess I was thinking more about how they fare over the course of a few days, not how much damage they can do in a single attack. You're right, the Switchblade lets them cause absolute mayhem, once.
I was imagining more a handful of territorial defence troops, in an SUV, with a drone and a big bucket of grenades. They could just keep bringing the drone back, driving away, recharging it, then going back again a few hours later.
This is in front of the Bolshoi Theater. Not any government building. It may be related to a play or Ballet.
interesting....
Is that the dumbass I remember watching in shitty 80s movies?Seagal will actually be doing security at this event. I shit you not.
They did, I think. There was a small section of track they claimed to have repaired. One that was destroyed by either them or a Ukrainian or pro-Ukrainian sabotage group. The track repair portion was maybe 15-20 feet and looked to be using precast rebar reinforced concrete as the structure to support the track vs the old ass bricks that used to be under it. I'm not a civil engineer so I can't comment on whether that solution or the Ukrainian's solution can last indefinitely for regular travel or if it's fine for a few exposures to train weight a day.this is amazing stuff.
Russia literally can't do that...basically anywhere, right?
I hadn't realized just how much Ukraine fed the world in those parts all the way down the various African nations. I'm not sure if Russia would maintain a blockade. I'm sure there's some people who'll quietly let their guard down and let ships pass or they're all insane fuckers like Putin who don't give a shit about those poor nations let alone their own people.Meanwhile, Russia is poised to kill millions across the globe by waging war in a vital food basket.
This isn't Ukrainian deaths they speak of, but famine due to the lost crops and transport of food through the Black Sea.
UN Warns: Ukraine's Ports Must Be Reopened or Millions Face Starvation
Chances of Russia not maintaining their military blockade?
It's one of those star shaped butt plugs you'll see on Amazon when Amazon recommends weird shit to you. This is to fill Putin's giant asshole because he's a giant asshole, it even twinkles like his coke ridden eyes.Anyone to provide context?
Of course. It's easy to get into the sway of it and wish the deaths of Russians but it's not like those kids want to be there. It hit home for us here where I am. We've had people just in a 30 mile radius gone to Ukraine to fight for them in the last few years. There was news of a local guy having gone and dying in action but there's no confirmation on that. Didn't have anyone else here and frankly most of us barely knew the guy.while there is an inevitability to russia's defeat, try to remember everyone is playing a hefty price on the ground.
interview with canadian volunteer who is fighting with the UA. this sort of 1st hand account isnt really making out into the media as much as you would hope this far into the war, even if keeping up morale is the reason for the filtering.
the hoover institute podcast had ret us army gen Ben Hodges on to provide some insight on what may 9 can look like.
Is that the dumbass I remember watching in shitty 80s movies?
I'm not sure Russians would actually fall for that proclamation. They're not stupid, I'm sure they can work their way around a vpn and find western news and realize they've been losing since day 1.
I'm thinking more of the countless nests and pill boxes all across Europe that Allies encountered on the march to Berlin.
yes, he's a big public hard-on for putin these days.
where you been, the last 25 years, my dude? Man, I grew up worshiping Sir Steve's hilarious quest to break all the arms of people in western media, simply to entertain us....back in those halcyon days of Hard to Kill (oh man, if some bastards did that to my wife, Kelly LeBrock! YES!!!! lol, that's the entire point of the movie. and all of his life. literally), and Marked for Death!
oh yeah, here's the thing he's doing now. like. for years. Let's get with it, my dude.

I had no idea it was that bad. I knew he was a Trump tard but nothing more. I grew into watching Arnie's movies and then spent about 10 years really into Texas Walker Ranger thinking it was the best TV, which technically given the utter shit airing during the 90s it was excellent television.yes, he's a big public hard-on for putin these days.

Sure, but how many providing direct front-line infantry support is the question.
Don't think we need to? Aren't all the new age drone companies offering Ukraine free equipment that goes boom once it closes in on a target? Loitering munitions or whatever they're called. Aren't those launch and forget for the most part? Ship over 10K of those and it'd fix your Russian disease fast.Meanwhile there is basically no weapons system we could not provide and train the Ukrainians on in that timeframe. We could even rush the ERCA guns and their propellents/shells into serial production and have it in the field for them.
