It pains me to see Zelenskyy taking that walk on a razor's edge with both Trump and Putin poking at him to make him fall off.

Looks like Trump desperately wants to make that alleged "Peace Deal" he has with Putin before the Democrats take back the House and the purse strings that goes with it.

Not one fuck given for all the cities wiped off the map by the invading orcs, for the crimes against humanity that continue on the Ukrainian civilian pop or for the war crimes committed against their defenders. Just more 'suckers and losers' to him, the bastard.

Trump's partnership with Putin is his guiding light as far as what he needs to believe and say about the deal he struck up with Putin. They have a common goal and it has nothing to do with Ukraine coming out of this war intact and secure. Putin needs to claim victory to keep his dictatorship intact just the same as Trump needs a deal to take to Oslo with the unspoken perks of a settlement being kept that way. Everything else is negotiable contingencies being built around the Putin/Trump collusion plan to Zelenskyy take a knee while not appearing to.

These two criminals need to have Zelenskyy taken out back to the shed and convinced that there's no way out for he and his nation to come out ahead of them in any realistic way. What's being negotiated with Zelenskyy is how appearances can be his and his nation's reality with Trump, Putin and their co- conspirators in actuality splitting up the spoils in a ginned up peace deal celebration at Mar a Lago.

He wants what is best for India. And right now, the rest of Asia is displaying strength of will... if not arms.

If NATO had slapped the shit out of Russia for invading Europe, if the US had remained stable, India would be more open to sharing in our strength.
Instead we are displaying abject weakness, ours is a bet and a trade that Modi cannot rely on. Russia has a huge need for support, and so far has the resources to pay for it.
India is filling a gap that we left open. Russia needs to be defeated militarily for their alliance to break. And the US needs to not be such a dick to the world.

Sadly, not seeing anyone act favorably in either regard. Russia may loose the war of attrition... or China, North Korea, India, etc.. may just pour in enough support to bail them out.
We are doing everything in our power to give mainland Asia this opportunity to win the first blow of WW3.

Russia excitedly presses forward in Europe, encouraged by Trump's weakness... or more likely, servitude.
Continues to damage critical infrastructure for NATO in the Nordic and Baltic States.
Continues to openly speak of sabotaging and attacking Europe as a whole.
And orders additional military forces into Ukraine from new directions.

Russia is trying to force the nordics going fully nuclear and the nordics aren't stupid, they might go on that path to screw Putin as long Trump is a declared ally of him (which is in process).

Sooner or later the Baltics and Nordics will not have any remaining cables or physical connections to Europe.
As Russia systematically destroys each one.

WTF are they doing allowing Russia to still operate a port in the Baltic Sea?

With the very limited knowledge at my disposal I'll take a guess as commerce being the reason. International trade between Russia, the EU and others is still going on so...

The man is a true patriot. He will do anything to stop the killing of his countrymen and get justice for all the victims of this war. Doubtless he sees debasing himself in front of the bloated orange toad as a minor annoyance compared to what millions have endured.

Zelensky probably charmed him in his own way. He was an actor-entertainer before he became head of state in Ukraine. He was a terrific talent. What Trump says today probably says almost nothing about what he may say in a couple weeks. He has no intellect whatsoever. Downstream, who knows what he'll say and do?
