I guess Putin and Trump have never heard that famous Kenny Rogers song...

"The Gambler"

"You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run".

I believe Ukraine asked for $60 billion for 2026 alone.
That $90 billion needs to last two years is... let us hope Ukraine was exaggerating for their own sake.
Ukraine does collect some taxes. They are not 100% completely dependent on the Europeans for funding.

And remember, this sum from Europe is also to support their military spending.

Poland will likely transfer its remaining Mig-29s to Ukraine soon. Their F-35s and FA-50s are becoming operational and they no longer need or want them in their fleet. The plus for Ukraine is that they can use them pretty much immediately after making the needed modifications to carry US/Euro weapons. Some chatter that heavy use of Mig-29s carrying GBU-39s have proved very effective against the Russians in Kupiansk.

the typical 4 wounded to 1 killed ratio went out the window when drones started hitting any transport going to/from the frontline. no one is making it back to the rear for medical treatment. survival chances are worse than 50:50 after getting wounded. western armies are exploring treatment at the front now that the golden window is gone.

ironic that it was ukrainians who composed a lot of the soviet casualties back in ww2. anyways the numbers are going to be off as rus has been pressganging people from other countries with promises of visas, easy jobs, or big payouts and then sending them off to the front. chumps from china/india/southamerica/northkorea/etc are never going to be counted as an official "russian" casualty. they certainly aint gonna pay their families back home the death stipend.

there are videos of russians back home talking about how someone they knew went off and the body came back 2 days later. the average is supposedly 7-8 days life expectancy.
There's a funny that's made the rounds a few times, Putin asking the ghost of Stalin how to win a war, answer is to put Western weapons in Ukrainian hands.

Nice. 6 more air frames capable of delivering SDBs and Hammers should be a substantial help, awesome news. Idk about that exchange rate though. Feels to me like Warsaw is a little light there. C'mon Poland, you really should throw in a gift basket of Pioruns or something.

If Russia had any brains they would have supported Ukraines adaptation into NATO and EU and begun it's own membership talks as a natural continuation .. Of course Putin would have had to implement real elections and such so. One guy again.

Putin thinks he will live to 150 lol. On the plus side a guy that obsessed with not dying isn't going to start a nuclear war.

Russia would have been smart? adding more "moles" to the NATO like they did with Hungary and Slovak.

From what I understand the reason Putin can keep feeding the meat grinder is cause shit is so dire so poor that s soldiers pay is a fortune... people are really really poor.. Think Germany just before the big one.

With inclusion into the EU his people could eat. And live. Why the fuck this path...

History books will tell you humans often walk this path. To enslave others. To use them for their own ends.

The Russian people are nothing but meat for their government to dispose of.
Putin can do it merely because his military chooses this. The Russian people can choose to die today, or to die later. None of them chooses to stand up and die today. So the machine grinds on, making slaves of them and killing millions. None of them know how to escape this brutal cycle of violence.

I'd say he's even dumber and more stubborn than Trump, but I doubt that's even possible.

There have been a lot of pretty gruesome videos lately of Russian attempts to advance on motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, etc. Really anything that moves. It has not gone well for them.

I know there are horse videos but I have no desire to watch that.

with the attacks on the black fleet and loading ports the hit to income seems to be having an effect. right now putler seems to be focusing on the cheapest things he has: spies and meatwave.

the amount of hybrid warfare in the EU is just absurd: rail line explosives in Poland, industrial and electric sabotage in Germany, false flag agitation in France. i guess it is the cheapest thing in terms of material but all it does is push the EU members towards action. all it takes is some inspection enforcement in the baltic sea to really shut down the black fleet.

in a perverse way hosing orcs at the line into a fast death is probably cheaper in the long run as it reduces the daily payroll size. trading lives to attrit Ukraine's ammo is the ultimate copium.
