The casualties are absolutely not the limiting factor. The inability to supply the force is. They would have no hope of supplying a force that large and would collapse.
Am I overestimating the value of sanctions and the benefit to Russian supply and production if the USA works to strengthen it?
I would agree that Russia appears restricted today, but my complaint is Trump working for them in trying to fix that.

There are over 600,000 Russian soldiers in Ukraine. With some 40,000 casualties each month. If you pause the war AND remove sanctions, AND have the US fighting to boost Russia's economy... their military buildup would be nothing to scoff at. They are absolutely NOT 1/10th that size. Right now the limiting factor is the strain of attrition as Russia approaches 1 million casualties.

Do not pretend a ceasefire and coordinated economic restoration efforts would not benefit them.
Preparing Russia for the next stage of their continental war against Europe is on MAGA's agenda.
It must be opposed and defeated.
The issue? China definately will help Europe and even Japan and S.Korea will side if Russia and N.Korea allies with USA.

RUS News was always Russians

Even if Disney pulls the plug, Russia will step up and make it into Russia Today 2.0. Or even more... Putin's today

It gets worse. USA "peace deal" is essentially this:
  • Ukraine, no US support, no NATO, no foreign troops. ZERO outside security.
  • Russia, sanctions lifted, full support for their mass military economy, recognition of stolen land.
Peace in our time baby, no one could ever imagine historical lessons from Chamberlain. Or Russian betrayal on "agreements". Especially not with USA doing everything possible to restore Russian economy and military strength. While handicapping Europe.

If I was Ukraine, I would only accept this ceasefire with the backing of a full speed nuclear weapons program.
Initial Russia invasion force was 200k. Next one would be 2-3 million. With lessons learned. You don't want that scenario without nuking Russia.

I thought US wanted to pull out of NATO anyways....

But EU and Ukraine should not accept such a deal.

Rubio is talking bout giving up because Moscow's demands and what the EU/Ukraine will agree to are miles apart.

Europe should simply invest billions in domestic Ukrainian arms production, especially missiles and drones. Like cloning and improving the 9M79 for the Tochka system and pushing the range out past 100 miles should be pretty easy and relatively cheap.

This and also fund a similar force like the foreign legion within Ukraine, which they somewhat already are doing.

This is excellent news, arigato gozaimasu!

Japan's iQPS Institute is going to supply Ukrainian intelligence with satellite imagery/geospatial data.

Should be very helpful, I hope it hastens the Kerch coming down.

-A little surprising to me that Japan would entangle itself directly in a European war, but I guess any country located next to a much larger territorially aggressive neighbor has a stake in Ukraine's fight.

If the war is still going in like 4-5 months it's a goner when the Germans finally supply Taurus.

If it didn't involve Russia they'd stay out of it, but yeah Putin is a neighbor to them and a buddy of a very belligerent CCP. I don't think they see it as entanglement.

No one will be spared if the first act of conquest in this new era is successful. Russia and China will not stop at just one nation.
Anyone who values their own life would want Russia to fail hard and quickly.

Yeah look at how Moscow is freaking out about the prospect of more Taurus showing up. They know damn well what that means. ATESH is saying the families of senior officers of the Black Sea Fleet are bolting for home. All leave for the Army in Crimea has been cancelled too.

Now that their asset in the White House has floated the idea of the US recognizing Russia's theft of Crimea, I expect Kyiv would love to respond to that notion in the most fantastic way possible.

Fine, have your talks with the French and Brits, Merz. No summits, pick up the phone. Then los fucking ghets!

NOELreports is saying the Russians have shut down the Kerch. Kaliber salvos have been launched towards Ukraine, from boats in the Black Sea. Russians are getting jumpy, saying they are seeing lots of drone activity from Odessa to Crimea.

Could this be Zelenskyy trying to make that reply I mentioned yesterday? Drop that bridge guys!
