Probably certain other European countries like Poland are probably doing quiet studies looking at what it would take to build nuclear weapons if the US Nuclear umbrella can no longer be depended on.

The French also might be willing to help out in this area.

Yeah. Hits like the pic of Trump and Putin exiting their extremely private meeting in Helsinki. When body language just screams.

Pretty insane what Trump and Vance, other magats are doing to American credibility and our partner relationships. I feel like I'm watching a forest fire from a long way off.

Zelenskyy should thank the US delegation for their proposals, let them know they will continue to explore those possibilities and "we'll call you." Then immediately phase into dealing with the EU as primary ally. Might cost them American SIGINT, completely (because Trump's a bitch), but the EU can step in and alleviate some of that loss at least. Releasing all those Russian funds will ensure Ukraine outlasts Putin's ability to conduct war. America is going to get left out in the cold thanks to Trump's fixation on gaining Putin's approval. Hegseth and Vance have doubled down on what Europe fears about Trump. They simply can't believe these men dress themselves, let alone represent the world's lone superpower. And I get it. America starts not getting invites now. Macron and others will run the show. Way to go dipshit.

Imagine how serious shit just got in Taiwan.

"Sorry, we can't defend you. We need China's rare earth metals. None to be had in Ukraine."

Why can't this guy's excuse for a heart just pop like a zit? You know it wants to.

Europe to be excluded from Russia-Ukraine peace talks, US envoy confirms

Bonus flavor. My own local MAGA spewed seething venom and hatred for Europe. Starting to think I missed some of their group-think towards the matter. Russia must have worked Republicans good this past decade, to get them to not only play useful idiot... but their desire to be willing participant in the slaughter of NATO. Not merely abandonment.

Russia as a state has ceased to exist.

The landmass formerly known as Russia is just the turf ran by the Putin criminal organization.

Republicans are now operating their own criminal organization inspired by Putin. And the landmass formerly know as the US will be their turf.

Run.

Not "ran".

Present tense. :)

United States works with Russia to support pro-Russia party in Germany.

Election interference on a colossal scale.
NATO is not going to have many members left by the time Russia starts with Poland for the endgame.

JD Vance breaks taboo by meeting with leader of Germany’s far-right party

US vice-president meets with AfD leader Alice Weidel as Trump administration courts European populist parties

Russia cannot even handle Ukraine, how are they going to do dealing with Poland who has modern equipment and a modern air force?

JD Vance:

“To many of us on the other side of the Atlantic, it looks more and more like old entrenched interests hiding behind ugly Soviet-era words like misinformation and disinformation, who simply don’t like the idea that somebody with an alternative viewpoint might express a different opinion or, God forbid, vote a different way, or even worse, win an election,”

The poor, poor AfD. Let's all shed a tear that they are so "misunderstood". Gee, it’s almost as if Vance wants a little diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for the AfD in Germany.

Trump:

"Europe has to be careful"

Trump to allies: "You better be careful. You treat us unfairly. We want to take your natural resources. I get to boss you around."

Trump to dictators: "I like you because you like me. You're a genius. Want to see some classified docs?"

Trump's going to wake up and realize EU doesn't need him. Europe has seen enough fascism. The Trump Extortion Inc. false sense of superiority is from ignorance.

Threaten our time-tested allies, hit them with tariffs. Lovingly rimjob our enemies. Great strategy. Does anybody doubt which side Trump would have been on during WWII? he'd be one of those American bandies that used Charles Lindbergh the same way he uses Musk. He would have tried to shake the Allies down for money first.

The Trump Sh!tshow has come to Europe. Time for Europe to get serious and tell the USA to get bent. European states need to consider deploying troops to Ukraine in order to stop Trump from helping Putin pull it apart. Having the Trump/Putin alliance put on a puppet show on the world stage when the deal likely to be imposed on Zelensky and the EU is already close to being final behind their backs.

Once again I am ashamed to be an American. These fools make us look ridiculous. Trump the clown and his brainless understudy in eyeliner have the world laughing at us, again. The subservient delivery of Putin's talking points from these guys makes me want to puke.

Was Hegseth really drinking on the job just now? That didn't look like water. "I won't drink if I get the job" does sound like something an alcoholic would say, I just figured he wouldn't do it on camera in front of an audience.

Yep, time for UKR to flip Don the bird and invite the EU and China to the negotiating table.

EU is gon want those UKR energy reserves and China wants in to the EU market bad. Lot of aligned interests between those three.

China even has some levers it can pull on the Russian side.

Nothing screams a "return" to greatness for the US like getting completely shut out of UKR negotiations.

It will be interesting to see if Putin attacks a NATO ally. He has a unique window of opportunity here. Nobody other than Trump would consider standing by while Russia invades a NATO ally. So will Putin want to take advantage? Any agreement between the Putin/Trump alliance will cripple Ukraine. Russia’s plan is to reinvade later when the time is right? There are much safer/soft targets from Putin’s POV:
Moldova, Georgia, perhaps Armenia. Not NATO members (what little that seems to be worth at this point), weak and ripe for the taking.

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has intelligence indicating a planned Russian invasion of a NATO country next year. I dunno, With whose army? North Korea’s? I’ve no doubt Putin and Trump will tell Ukraine they must disarm to get peace. Putin has insisted on that over and over.

If Russia does attack NATO, that would be the best thing for Ukraine in multiple ways. It would stretch Russia’s forces much thinner, divert forces away from Ukraine, and get a whole lot of nations involved, even if the US stays out. This is why I doubt Russia attacks NATO (if by attack we mean some sort of military invasion/incursion). What IS more likely is more of what Russia is already doing - cutting undersea cables, cyberwarfare, disrupting the flow of energy, efforts aimed at polarizing and politically destabilizing the West etc., which is already set in motion at warp speed with the election of Donald Trump.

You are skipping the order of events for WW3.
Ukraine would die first. Then Russia regroups and pushes forward.

At the same time, US strangles Europe with energy and the wave of refugees from Ukraine gives rise to hostile pro-Putin movements throughout Europe. By the time Russia strikes NATO, it will already be a fragment of its current state. A weaker, divided NATO would fail to defend the Baltics... only adding further stress and disarray as Russia move through friendly Slovakia and into the heart of Europe.

By the time they choose to attack Poland, the war is already lost.

A guy at work who generally doesn't hate Trump was concerned that something's changed this time. He couldn't understand why Trump and his administration is acting with such urgency. He thinks AIPAC is pulling the strings hard this time around and he can't discount WW3 happening if things keep going like this.

He also pointed this out:

1739734518147.png

First, the colors should be switched because that blue is Israel's color.

Second, if they switched these colors on purpose, then it shows that Netanyahu and AIPAC are in a commanding position since Red is the color of domination.

I think Petey meant to say he won’t drink less if I get the job
