Still doesn't mean he has no clue about this countries security.

I think he's done that other ways. He said there is no way Russia loses this war, when it already has.

Elonia thinks F-35 will just get pilots killed, which is an odd thing to say given what the IAF just did with them (and made it look easy).

I'd say the poser knows as much about national security and military systems as he does electric truck design. Thank goodness we have people denying this tit Top Security Clearence, the undisclosed foreign contacts stuff proves he's just another Trump lackey that should be nowhere near power. I hope Trump gets tired of having to share headlines with him, tells him to take his child shield and piss off back to Texas.

After 3 years, Australia has an embassy in Kyiv again.

When asked why Australia took so long compared to the Canadians, who within 3 months came back in 2022 to the same building they share with Australia, the Australian Foreign Minister said that "Canada is part of NATO. Australia is not."

They also gave Ukraine another parcel of aid... some $AU76mil, although no military aid. The total aid by Australia is currently standing at ~$AU1.4bil.

A big fat meh to my government on this issue :/

No surprise, Team Treason believes Russia should feel safe and immune from consequences.

Trump team criticises killing of Russian general in Moscow
Well of course - it is fine for Russia to invade a country, torture many civilians and then shoot them in the back of the head, steal 10's of thousand of children but it is wrong for Ukraine to respond by killing a general in Moscow.... at least we know where team Trump stands on this matter.

Steve Rosenberg a BBC reporter asks Putin a question and Putin goes on with a incomprehensible word salad response (almost like Trump). Lies about everything including being ahead of the UK (not mentioning his entire economy is based on a war economy spending on the military industrial complex).
"25 years ago Yeltsin handed you power & told you 'Take care of Russia.’ Do you think you have? In light of significant losses in Ukraine, Ukrainian troops in Kursk region, sanctions, inflation…"

I like how he's trying to act like losing Syria is some kind of relief.

Uh, you just got cut off from Africa, income from there now harder to get at. I don't think your silly excuse for a navy trying to get home without being seized shares that sense of relief there shorty. Your European based income is now in dire jeopardy too. Qatar is going to eat your lunch and Turkey is prepping the table.

Yeah, take a big ol bite of that shit sandwich Putler. Smile for the camera, pretend it's ice cream. Try not to think about how NATO can do to you what Israel did to Iran, Syria and Lebanon.

US has given an exemption to Türkiye for Natural Gas payments over Gazprombank. This is an important piece of news and likely confirms that a deal between USA - Russia over Syria & Ukraine has been cut. We may expect a ceasefire soon after Trump takes the office

Nothing coming out of Kyiv or Moscow leads me to believe that a ceasefire is particularly imminent.

Putin has NEVER shrank from his original goal of taking all of Ukraine.
In fact, Russia vows to invade Moldova next.

That is only possible after carving a Genocidal path through Ukraine.

Well, this came from Washington DC

I view this more as a favor to Turkey, perhaps in return for influence in Syria, than necessarily any kind of signaling on future peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

Same.

Ukraine can't trust any agreement and Russia can't spare the time off.
Putin was just asked if he had any regrets about invading Ukraine and his stated regret was he wished he had violated their truce earlier, I assume because he thinks he gave Ukraine too much time to prepare to defend itself.

How do you sign a deal with someone like that? Any deal Ukraine makes with Russia will need to explicitly account for the high probability that Russia will simply break it again.

If I was the Europeans I'd simply count every dime spent on Ukraine as a defense expenditure and show him a pretty graph. Might actually work.

The only deal that will work is NATO membership for Ukraine. Which is Putin's nightmare, i.e. over his dead body and I DO MEAN DEAD.

I'm no meteorologist, but it's lookin like cold and cloudy with a chance of JDAMs for the Donetsk area.

Scratch a Russian base in Petrivka Village. Big place, I hope it was packed. Looks like they weren't using the basement for an ammo dump like that one time. Booooo hisssss.

Do Trump want another near peer to the US? I mean I wont complain, but, it's just like... you sure about this? The US is at like 4% right and Europe and US is like comparable in terms of GDP, so.

So is he hoping that European countries increase defense spending so we can sell them arms? Or is it because he still thinks it isn't fair that the wealthiest most powerful country in the world carry the largest burden? I mean this is the same guy who thinks the rich need another tax cut paid for by cuts that help the most vulnerable among us.
