RUMSFIELD IS STEPPING DOWN

ROFL, that prediction thread was on the money. Who wants to make a bet he has some kinda 'get out of jail free' card signed by the President?

Here is why the GOP is dumb.

If Bush would have made Rummy resign a couple weeks ago, he could have saved some Senate seats for the GOP IMHO.

the first sign that the bush administration is waking up and facing reality.

hope this is just the beginning of the administration moving toward a more realistic view of its failed policies.

I concede defeat to Her209's rumsfeld stepping down thread and respect the locking of mine. May her209's thread enjoy a prosperous life on P&N while working for a better future.

Wow, I was totally wrong, I didn't think this would happen.

But that being said, I am very very happy.

Bush 'bout to 'splain to nation. I, for one, hope there are tears and bitchy, angry words! 😛

But... but... but... Bush said he would stay through 2008.
Bush Wants Rumsfeld, Cheney To Stay
President Gives Support To Two Most Criticized Members Of His Cabinet

WASHINGTON, Nov. 1, 2006

(CBS/AP) President Bush said Wednesday he wants Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Vice President Dick Cheney to remain in his administration until the end of his presidency, extending a job guarantee to two of the most criticized members of his team.
Bush's lips must have been moving. 😎

If we're lucky, Cheney's next. Then, it'll be time for the Numbnutz In Chief.
