Well I can't help but think of the story about the Russians about to move into Kabul that I read a day or two ago. Totally unfounded and worthless news.

<< I'd say the most likely outcome if we catch him will be a long trial and jail time. Why? Because that's what we are fighting for; a system of laws and human rights. >>

Just bring him down here to Texas we will execute him quickly for you.... ;)
>>

I've got a postcard that I've saved for years. It's a guy in an electric chair getting fried. The caption says, "Texas leads all states in deathrow executions. Wish you were here."

Personally, I'd like to put his penis in a meat slicer and slice off 1/8 of a inch each day and feed it to him.

That would be really cool if they nabbed him today of all days. On the one month anniversary of the murders.

But, that is if we catch him. I'm pretty sure that most people in the military and civilians alike hope we kill him with the bombing we are continuing to carry out. If he dies that way, then we have an out, as he died in battle. However, if we catch him, we can't bring him back to the States and then hold a public execution...that isn't how America works. Once he is in our custody, he will be treated as any other criminal would be. He'll be given a trial and jail time. So, think about that...you could be working this morning to pay for his meal in the future.

Nah, he is guilty of over 300 counts of capital murder as of yesterday. Every day the number of charges increases. He is going to have to die just like common capital murder offenders here in the states.

I can't find anything and its almost certainly untrue, so I'm doing my best to just ignore it for a couple hours until perhaps we hear something more. I think its safe to say that if he is ever caught at the very least they're going to have his handcuffs on VERY tight and everytime he says "Please, these hurt they're too tight!" People will laugh and snicker.

People don't need to be joking about this. We either have him or we don't. No need to cry wolf more than once.

Just a thought, if he was captured and gotten to USA, how many YEARS(notice I did not even try months) would it take just to level charges against him? I mean 300 counts, jeez...

Like I said, this was a rumor. I've heard it all over Wall Street this morning and CNBC has numerous times said that the rumor was going around as well.

I've been looking for a link but I've been busy with work as well so I'll keep looking.

I find it hard to believe that they could capture Osama and bring him out alive. It's not likely he was like just sitting around taking a dump and they broke in the bathroom and took him w/o anyone else noticing and having a major gunfight. Hell, I'd think bin laden would rather kill himself than go into US custody.

Edit: Even if he were alive, what's the chances that the US troops didn't beat him to death by now? :)

It was mentioned on "Market Watch" this morning by the guy reporting from the Chicago Bond Market - he said it was completely UNCONFIRMED RUMOR and that he was reporting it strictly because that is what was moving the markets this morning....

True or not, the perception on Wall St is that the war is going extremely well and that Bush and staff are doing an excellent job of rooting out the terrorists here and abroad.

If we have satellites that can read a newspaper from space, why they hell could be not find one turban-wearing freak of nature in a desert?
