Depending on what story I read the Trump Transition Team was not a .gov organization, but a nonprofit organization that warrants would be needed to seize emails and other items. That the GSA had no right to hand over hard drives etc. Again it depends on what story I read.
When you send emails on a government computer, there is absolutely no expectation of privacy. If you are trained properly, and I doubt the smartest, bigliest transition team to have ever existing felt they needed no training to this fact, but they are woefully wrong.

I can't believe how many people think this congress will actually act. There is zero chance this congress impeaches and convicts Trump for firing Mueller. I have a hard time believing they would even with solid evidence that he was in bed with the Russians, but no way in hell they will for anything less than that. Anyone that thinks otherwise is delusional and has much too high of an opinion of republican's integrity.

I have faith, for one even the most corrupt I'm sure have some morals and wouldn't like trump knowingly working with russians to rig a presidential election. Two they will all need to save they're own ass, if they don't even more evidence will inevitably come out over time and 2020 will swirl around the drain for the republicans.

I don't know about firing at this point, unless there is more that we don't know. It is sad when the investigators need investigating though. Several issues are concerning. Seems the Russia investigation has turned up more on the FBI and friends than those who allegedly colluded with Russia from Trumps team.

I'm honestly tired of the entire thing. I wish anyone guilty of anything was exposed, punished and we could just move along. No matter who it is, but that is not likely to happen.
Patience grasshopper. Watergate took way longer.

Wise words from Democrat Alan Dershowitz.

Dershowitz: Mueller Has A ‘Credibility Problem’

Dershowitz said, “I’m not a Republican, I’m a Democrat. I think he has a credibility problem.”

“He should have been more careful about who he hired. He should have disclosed he had taken that FBI agent off the case after his messages came out. I think he has a credibility problem on these emails without a warrant. I think he has a credibility problem if he used the dossier in order to get national security wiretaps,” he added.

He also said, “[Mueller] has been conducting a sloppy investigation, and that’s atypical of him. I’m surprised. When you are going after the president, you have to be Caesar’s wife–you have to be above reproach. You can’t give the other side any ammunition, and he has given the other side plenty of ammunition.”

Well, I kind of hope the people will make their lives complete hell if Trump fires Mueller.

They just actively supported a man removed from office twice for ethics violations and had creditable accounts of him being a child molester. They are about to pass a huge tax cut for the top 0.1%, and immediately move into taking away grandma's Medicare. I don't think morals are high on their list.

Hell they couldn't even bring themselves to look into banning bump stocks.

Don't forget that Trump has been in open violation of the constitution and numerous laws since they day he took office, without a beep out of the Republicans.

I don't know why people even remain living in this country. It's, it's just so much better nearly everywhere else.

I didn't say anything about any other country. I am talking about the republican party that doesn't even represent half of voters. The party that has routinely rigged the system to keep themselves in power, against the will of the people of the country.

Just because I don't like your sports team, doesn't mean I should move. I just wish your sports team would stop shitting all over my country.

Two things:

First, until 2016 there was actually an effort to address some of this instead of rolling it back. And second: brave people stay to make things better. "Love it or leave it" is simplistic and cowardly; you do not have to mindlessly accept the status quo to be willing to stay where you are.

2 things.

If Trump's lawyers had a case with this they would have gone to a judge, no go public.

.gov domain does not belong to them. There is no expectation of privacy so no warrant required.

Why do you and Dershowitz need to remind the rest of us that Dershowitz is somehow a democrat? what the hell is that about? lol.

Words matter. Those who swore to leave the country if Trump was elected should take their powder.

It's not that easy to emigrate when you are over 50, apparently don't have a high-demand job in Canada (even though it's pretty high-paying IT position), and your wife has a business in real estate. I failed the quick-immigration quiz Canada offers LOL! Kids don't want to go either. I sure as hell do though, even if I can't do it quickly, and failing that, would like my kids to grow up elsewhere.

If I were younger, I would indeed be gone by now or closer to it. I don't belong here in Jesusland.

Your sports team shit all over my country for eight years. Among those piles of shit is many, many trillions of debt. Winners get to make the rules and by my measurement the guy in the top slot right now is making some good rules. He's making those in part because he was not a politician. Not only was he not, he did the overwhelming majority of it with his own money. We've needed a person at the top that didn't have to answer to anyone for a long, long time. I can only imagine what he could accomplish with Republican support. But the swamp, it's resisting.

My question was a rhetorical one. I didn't leave and I don't expect you to leave. But the endless whining over every single fucking thing has put the left into a position where I don't listen and don't care anymore. And I've got a whole lot of company.

So, how about that GOP tax plan, speaking of trillions in debt? Do you pay attention to anything the people in power are actually doing or do you just respond to their dog whistles all day?

GOP had how many of those years in power?

As far as I'm concerned, you should just STFU over deficits and debt with what's getting ready to be push through GOP CONgress. People who complain about decreasing deficits during the Obama years while the country was pulling out of the worst recession (near depression) in 80 years and now don't say a word about the shit the GOP is doing needs their asses kicked out of this country.

Fucking pot calling the kettle black after the last six years of Obama with a GOP CONgress? Whined and blocked EVERYTHING. Fucking hypocrite. Yeah, you've got a 38% company and falling.

The Republicans' tax plan is estimated to add over $1 trillion to the debt by itself.

Also, Trump is believed to have extensive debt. He's beholden to plenty of people, he's just counting on people like you to not pay attention.

He's simply protecting what hes worked for.
Bullshit. He's supporting hurting the country. He's supporting collusion. He's supporting a corrupt president and Administration. He's supporting hate and discrimination.
