Au contraire, it achieves the objective beautifully. The objective is to draw attention to one's self by starting an entire thread solely to bitch about the supposedly "rude" behaviour of one person, and thereby lure many others into one-upsmanship of rudeness. Masterful. Or mistressful, if that's what we are today.

Why do you care so much? Paulson had a reason, he's posting here all the time (I'm not knocking you Paulson - you put alot of time into this forum, be it constructive or not 😛). But I see you have less than 40 posts here, that's not too many. So why do you care so much?

Is it that hard to give this member the respect she has asked for? It's simple; don't call her Jake, and don't attack her without reason.

Many people seem to be unwilling to let the antics of NowhereMan and to a lesser extent Shocking Blue die. It's been months, forget about it!

Not one of you even knows if this is the same person who posted under those handles. Sure, maybe it would help if she lightened up a little, but it would be hard for anyone here if they were repeatedly attacked at random.

Let it go; let the past be the past, and accept this new member with the same respect the rest of us received and deserved.
 
How would I like it? Not a bit. What would I do about it? Not this. You are grandstanding like some wounded waif, and you have done it often enough that no one will ever take your pain seriously again. This is known as the "cry wolf" syndrome, and it is one of the prices often paid by histrionic personalities.
 
I have the feeling that I don't know everything that's going on here. Must have been something I missed.

But just by reading this thread, it looks as if it is attention-seeking, on first impression. Upon more carefully reading some posts, it looks like there is more to it, but I don't know what.

Since I don't know you (Jenni), I will simply stick to the standard methods of treating members - you do seem pretty new to me, and you deserve the same amount of respect as any other member.

I don't see why the other members are reacting the way they are - and I am sure there is good reason, but really it isn't any of my business.

Wow, I don't know who you are, but this just seems kinda silly to me. If somebody says something to me I don't like, I just tell them in the thread. I don't see the sense in starting a nasty thread just to tell people off. If you want to handle it that way, then don't be surprised when they get nasty back. But hey, whatever floats your boat. 😀
