Rosenstein heading to WH in expectation of being fired, reportedly resigned

Information will be classified under a national security scam and Mueller won't violate that. It's not all craptastic in that the House is likely to be run by Dems and maybe maybe maybe the Senate. In that case they might bring him aboard in an equivalent position not answerable to Trump.

Sounds like you wish to bypass checks and balances of government. Executive branch responsibilities but under the Legislative branch?

Congress has investigative powers. You might tell Devin Nunes that his findings aren't valid, but I think he'll disagree.

As far as checks and balances? I hope that's a joke considering that there are no checks and balances. The President and the majority of Congress are one.

Rosenstein likely thought he was going to be fired. But the WH didn't make him offer his resignation...that was Rosenstein's choice. From what little I know, I think Rosenstein is a man of honor and offered his resignation as such. But I would go on to speculate that the actual reason Kelly invited Rosenstein to the WH wasn't to fire him (because that clearly didn't happen)...it was because he wanted to know the intimate details of those two May 16 meetings.

Don't be dense, OK? Anonymous White House sources claimed he offered to resign. That doesn't mean it's true. It just means you're jumping to the conclusion they want.

We have no idea if he even offered his resignation or not or on what terms. Reports I have seen stated that the White House was unwilling to meet his terms for resignation and so Rosenstein made the decision that they would have to fire him.

Regardless, I was simply talking about who leaked the story, which again was almost certainly the White House. I am interested to see if the stories about the WH refusing to meet his terms for resignation were true and if so, what those terms were and if they relate to Mueller.

I wouldn't go so far as to assume any of it might be true. It's all coming out of the Trump admin so it could easily be pure fabrication.

You cite that as your defense for being a complete clown regarding the timing of the Rosenstein meeting this Thursday. That's so f*cking pathetic...especially coming from a smart guy like you.

You're either a troll or completely stupid. You are wondering why someone who has shown the proclivity to manipulate the news cycle in a blatant way would do it again? And on top of that you are talking about a president who is incapable of being patient, wanting to wait 4 days to talk to someone and publicly disclosing that date? C'mon, you are not really this dense. The lesson in life is when someone shows you their ass believe them... Unfortunately, I didn't take that advice with you.

I see you are getting to know our DSF.

Of course it is...this timing was all planned to distract from the Kavanaugh hearing. It had nothing to do with the fact that he'd be at the UN meeting in New York most of the week. Damn...he's a crafty one!
To have pre-planned the whole UN thing knowing about the Kavanaugh hearing delays and the story about Rosentein is amazing!

I have stated it, but no thanks on the protest/riot invite.

Come on along. I’m not going to hold a sign or anything & if it turns ugly I’m out
Just do the same

It’s ok to be conservative and still say this is wrong for the President to do
It’s ok to think some of what the President is doing but firing Mueller or undermining the investigation is wrong.

I disagree with the President occasionally, i disagree with my political party on quite a few issues, my concern for the Mueller Russia collusion investigation is mild at best. Certainly not enough to protest.
