I am loving it now. You could wait a good few years for the price to go down. I am doing the same with psp games and films. Picking them up so cheap on ebay now.

Really think a couple years? I know a lot of games released around this time in years past are on special around Christmas or right after.

Anyone else having massive stability issues with patch 5 that wasn't happening before? Seems to happen most going in and out of battle.

On another note Scythed chariots are super OP. I got ambushed early in an Egypt game and the chariots on my general pretty much slaughtered their whole army for a heroic victory on legendary...

Seems like updating my nvidia drivers did the trick.

There's new DLC that's free until the 29th for people that have the game btw ^.^

Free until the 29th meaning:

Download before the 29th and you get to keep it forever

or

Download and play until the 29th, after which you will have to pay to continue to play (like the free weekends for some games on steam)

Don't know if its bump worthy but I just noticed the bloodpack (blood and gore) has been added for $2.99.

Wasn't it free for Shogun 2 ?

They want you to pay to have blood and gore in the game? That's as shameless as Metro Last Light asking you to pay for the hardest difficulty.

Not enough for me to bite. Considering all the problems it still has it's going to have to get down to at least 50% off and even then I'm not sure. But that is just me.

It's very playable (though it has been for me since the beginning) there have been a lot of improvements. I like the game and it's good for doing a few turns and doing something else. That is the nice thing about turn based games. 😛

They're seriously charging extra for blood and gore. Darn it Total War, you're making me want to boycott the series on principle. :\

Unless you constantly play at eye level I don't think the blood and gore thing is a big deal, but that's me. Should it be free? Yes, but it takes nothing away substance wise so I'm indiffierent.

The Metro Range Mode DLC actually changed how the game was played. It also didn't help when the developer actually said that you needed the DLC the play the game as intended lol. Hyperbole perhaps since it was advertising, but still it was a sticking point.

No, it wasn't. It annoyed me, but I didn't care enough about it to care. Maybe, that's what they're counting on. I'll probably buy it when it's 75% off too >.<

I hadn't looked but hasn't some modder by now made a blood mod? Such mods have been around for the other TW games and you know someone is going to try it just so they don't have to pay for it. Then again, if not, maybe someone will now just out of principle?

I think the main consumer of the blood and gore dlc would be under 18 years of age. And also below the age guidance level.

Hell, we need another Myth game to satisfy the blood and gore urges. 😉
