Donnie has no problem throwing his own money down the shitter, so he wouldn't hesitate to do it with the American taxpayer's money. He's full of shit, of course, and would never implement such a policy. In order to pay for this proposal, Trump is never going to raise taxes on the rich, so the burden would once again fall upon the middle class, or else he will just raise the national debt some more, as if he didn't already do enough damage.

Trump must feel trapped. He knows the MAGAs are nowhere near enough, so he as to try to appeal to the people HE hates and his cult hates. He is to the point where he literally will say anything. Offer anything. If he thinks he can get the votes. Tomorrow he will promise his next government will pay the rents for every American citizen and throw in the grocery bills, too. Trump "says" he is also voting in favor of the Florida abortion bill that extends the 6 week limit. He is desperate enough to throw his entire MAGA army under the bus. He's gonna need more buses.

Trump doesn't have any ideology beyond the ever-shifting momentary needs of his diseased ego. He's in a state of rage most of the time so there's a common thread, but his only "belief" is that he has to be the best guy in the world, because deep down he's terrified he's really as worthless as his father said he was.
